You should've known better

Colby's POV

- We'll have to make it public eventually! - I called out to Sabrina who was doing her makeup in the bathroom attached to her room. I was laying on her bed, my phone in my hand, playing music at full volume.

- Better later rather than sooner - she gave me an annoyed look in the mirror as she kept applying crimson shade blush on her cheeks.

- Why's that?! - I whined

We were having a small disagreement, as usual. I was trying to talk her into making our relationship public. Rumors were already floating around at that point. They started back when she first waltzed into my life; they stopped when she stopped appearing in videos and when Elton explained that she had left; and now they were back again. Even though she hadn't been in any videos with us at that point, her and our fans knew she was in LA thanks to her Instagram posts. That was enough to light the burnt out fire again.

- I wanna keep them guessing - she shrugged nonchalantly as she put down her brush and picked up the eye shadow palette.

- I looked through some comments about us on our recent posts. People think we have a kid, for God's sake! - I sat up and gave her a frown

She gave me a wide eyed look in return - Did I look that fat in my pictures?

I couldn't help but laugh. After all we had just talked about, all she really stopped to think about was her appearance in her photos. Of course, she was trying to ditch the topic. And I, of course, knew. And she knew that I knew, but in her typical fashion, she just kept lying. Classic Sabrina.

- Fine - I gave in - One more month.

- Two - she turned around, pointing an accusing finger at me

- One month and 10 days. Take it or leave it - I stood up and walked over to the doorway of the bathroom

She hesitated a bit. I knew she wasn't ready. I also knew that she was never really gonna be ready. - Deal.

I outstretched my hand in her direction for a handshake - Shake on it.

Just as she raised her hand to take hold of mine, her phone rang. It was on the bed, so one quick look over my shoulder was enough for me to see the called ID. - It's your mom - I told her.

There could've been a mountain between her and the bed, she would've probably flown above it to grab her phone. I can't blame her, the last thing you want is a missed call from your mom, even if you aren't on the best of terms.

- Hello? - Sabrina answered the call and gave me an apologetic smile before stepping out in the hallway.

*Later that day*

Sam and I had been out for the majority of the day, looking for things for the video we planned on filming that evening - truth or digest.

- Are we really titling it that? - I cringed as I put the bags full of groceries on the kitchen island

- You have a better idea? - Sam raised an eyebrow as he went to the living room to grab a notebook and a pen.

- Ugh, we have so many things, we'll never manage to write all these things down on time - I rolled my eyes, looking at the four overflowing plastic bags.

- I can help - a familiar voice, actually, the music to my ears came from the living room

Sabrina was standing there in a crop top and running shorts, holding her phone in one hand. That was one of the many moments when I realized how whipped she had me. She was wearing the laziest, comfy clothes yet I was still drooling. She could've been wearing a trash bag, I would've probably still looked at her with starry eyes.
