Two years later
Sabrina's POV
Almost two years had passed at that point. Colby and I were, surprisingly, still together and happier than ever. Our phones stayed locked but we both knew each other's password just in case, with the oath to not take advantage of that information and snoop around. We had a few rules for our relationship, we called them the 'It can work' rules. Over time, we changed them, modified them, loosened them up. As our relationship was getting stronger, the strictness of those rules grew weaker. We trusted each other more, we agreed more on certain topics and we stopped caring about the rest of the world. And let me tell you - when you leave out all the rest, you're left with the best. Despite agreeing on many things, it still took him a while to convince me to move into his room. Once he finally won that battle, he was the one packing my stuff and moving it down the hallway. It wasn't such a difference it only meant we had less space for our stuff, but to my surprise, I found his room clean and tidy when I moved in. All his things were neatly arranged in his closet and dresser, leaving more than half the space to me. He had also arranged my small decorating pieces and accessories, folded my clothes into the dresser he also moved, hung what he fit in the dresser in his closet where he had also left some space for me. All those gestures made me fall in love with him all over again and even more than the first time. It showed that not only did he want to share a room with me, but he was also ready to do all the work just to make sure I was comfortable.
That, however, was not really appreciated by Sam. The walls were pretty thin and he often found himself banging from the other side to tell us to keep quiet. I tried to, I really did, but Colby made it impossible. He said he wanted to take revenge on him for all the times he was forced to listen to the porn Sam and Kat were making. Sometimes, we were just sitting on the bed, talking or reading a book and a simple wink from Colby is the sign that marks the beginning of a sleepless night. No, we aren't actually fucking, if that's what you were thinking. We just made sure it sounds like we are. That happened at least once a week and Sam soon started sleeping downstairs. Jake also started complaining but in a teasing way, which we didn't take too seriously.
- I wish I could evict you - Elton told us once when the living room was turned into a camping ground by the roommates who were just fed up with us.
- You've already done that to me, remember? - Colby replied
- Yeah, don't remind me of that time - Elton shook his head and ended the conversation there
That reminded me as well. Of where things started and how they started. One kiss and BAM, Colby was thrown out of the house. Some would say that's a sign and I agree. It has never been easy for us, and I'm sure we'll continue moving mountains in the future, but it's easier when we're both pushing against them.

- I told you I could do it for you - I said, shrugging as I scrolled through my Instagram feed.
- Not gonna lie, those XPLR merch pictures were pretty badass - Colby plopped down onto our shared bed.
- Oh please, stop feeding my ego - I giggled - Where do you want the pictures to be taken?
Colby had asked me to take some pictures of him wearing his new merch and edit them later. I slipped up once and told him I used to do photography and editing to help pay my education in back in Brooklyn and he decided to use my abilities to the fullest.
- Sunken City - he showed me some pictures of it
- I don't need pictures. I know where that is. I eve know the way to get there - I shook my head towards his phone - That's the first place I ever explored with you guys.
