Colby's POV
- You know, this view is better in person - Sabrina told me as she stared off at the amazing picture in front of her - Santorini.
The location for the honeymoon was her choice. I trusted her to make the decision, taking into consideration the fact that she has always been the best at choosing places. To be honest, I didn't really care what place she would pick, I didn't care which hotel we were gonna stay in, I didn't care if we were even gonna stay in a hotel or under the clear sky or under water. All that mattered was that it would be just us. Her and I, somewhere far from the rest of our friends who have a tendency of driving us mad from time to time. No tension, no stress.
- You know something else? - She went on, sipping the cocktail she had ordered about ten minutes prior. We were sitting on the chairs on the balcony of our room, enjoying our drinks and letting the sun rays seep into our skin. - This cocktail is not as good as everyone says.
- Really? - I got up from my chair and walked over to where she was standing, her arms crossed, resting on the decorative fence surrounding the balcony. There were flower pots between the two halves of abstractly shaped metal, swinging to the melody of the wind - Let me try it.
She crunched up her nose in a displease expression and handed me the glass. I took a sip and cringed, my face twisting in an expression similar to hers. The drink was indeed bad. It was bitter and sour, I was surprised she was so calm about it.
- The look of your face says it all - she laughed and took the glass from me
- Fair - I said, shaking my head as if that would erase the taste from my tongue - That's not only bad, it's horrible. Why would anyone order that? Actually, why is it even being made?!
Her eyes zoned out for a moment as she fell into thought - I don't know really. People have weird tastes. - she took another sip - Actually, the longer you drink the better it becomes.
- You're weird - she smiled at the certain look I was giving her
- So is this cocktail, we were basically made for each other - she took a longer sip - I might even order another one.
I couldn't help but laugh. Everyday she just kept reminding me why I love her, and her reminders just made me love her more and more - Well, I'll let you enjoy the witch's potion you're drinking. I'll go get our beach bag ready.
- Good call, doing something productive instead of judging me - she called out to me when I entered our room
Not even two weeks of our marriage and we had already proved, on multiple occasions, that we are masters at fighting like a married couple. We've always been fighting like a married couple. Now we were a married couple bickering like two individuals with a mindset between a married couple and high school teenagers. And I love it.

- That shrimp is really doing wonders for you right now, isn't it?! - I called to Sabrina through the bathroom door.
The day had been beyond great. We went to the beach, went for a walk, had dinner. And that's when things went downhill for Sabrina and became funny for me. In short, she got food poisoning. Well, sort of. Shrimp has always, for as long as I've known her, messed with her badly. She has always been complaining about how much she loves shrimp and how much she hates having to throw up after eating it.
- Fuck off, Brock! - She could be on her dead bed and she would still take the opportunity to put me in my place. Man, I love her.
She had chased me out of the bathroom after she decided that throwing up was the least of her worries and I was just plain annoying and her nerves couldn't take me and my nagging anymore.
