Doctor Jenna.....

Jenna Ford sat to the vanity applying  her makeup she comb through her neatly trimmed shoulder length hair. She pulled back the honey blonde strands into a ponytail adorning it with a red bow. Her jawline smooth her light brown eyes gleamed as she applied mascara to her lashes. Colin Ford stood in the doorway gazing at her, "You are as beautiful as the day I married you," She smiled lining the curves of her lips with gloss, "I'm the lucky one," She stood up and embraced his lean and tall figure she brushed her fingertips across his goatee and ran her hand through his jet black locks his blue eyes glistened at her he kissed her tenderly, "Happy birthday," He uttered. Jenna pulled back, "I feel thirty seven," She teased, "You look twenty one," He admired.

"A shame you have work today," He sat on the bed she joined him, "The emergency room has to function," She admitted with a grin, "How about I cook for you tonight, Italian?" He questioned. "I thought you had a night lecture?" She probed, "I do, however I could cancel it," He kissed her again, "Well if you could cancel, I could leave a little early this evening," She brushed the side of his arm squeezing it. "I'll stop by Covington's on my way back from Providence," He winced, "I'll pick up some wine and a garlic loaf," He stood up putting on his suit jacket, "I love you," She watched him leave.

Jenna stood at the window of her bedroom staring out across the road to the old Collins farm, "Hmm," She grunted, "Looks like a new neighbor is moving in," She spoke out loud catching herself. She strolled down the stairs and out the front door, the spring air crisp, a mild breeze blew. Sasha pulled on the door hinge of the mailbox finding it difficult and rusty. "Damn!" She exclaimed, but was suddenly startled by the beautiful doctor who lived across the way. "Hello," Jenna voiced, "Sorry," She squinted, "But did I scare you?" She asked, Sasha eyed her. "Uh, hi, uh no," She wiped her hand on her bluejeans extending her hand, "Yes, I'm Sasha," She smiled, "Sasha Addison," She awaited a response from her. Jenna became confused realizing just who she was. Their hands stayed clutched briefly, Sasha pulled hers away.

"Jenna Ford," She finally replied. "Oh, you live there?" Sasha asked pointing, Jenna slightly turned, "Uh, yes, my husband Colin and I, it's his parents farm," She being to relax and converse. "Of course I'm new, don't know anyone here," Sasha responded wiping her brow, Jenna smiled, "If you need anything I'm just right across the road, if you'll excuse me, I have to be to work," They shook hands again, Sasha watched her from the corner of her eye as she drove away, Jenna now mesmerized by the woman she had just met.

Jenna flipped through the charts signing off on the people she had seen that day, "Slow today," Nurse Gibbs handed her the rest of the charts, Jenna grinned, "Can I ask you something?" She inquired of Nurse Gibbs setting the charts to the side, "What's on your mind," They stepped away from the main desk, "I think I met Sasha Addison today," She crossed her arms, Nurse Gibbs arched her brow, "The actress Sasha Addison?" She asked, Jenna nodded her head, "Really she's famous," There was some excitement, "She bought the old Collins farm, I saw her at the mailbox this morning and I introduced myself, I was taken aback when she told me her name, it was surreal," She told her. "A small town like this, makes you wonder what she might be hiding," Nurse Gibbs stated getting Jenna's attention further.

Sasha cleaned out the last kitchen cabinet grabbing a cold glass of wine and sitting to the sofa her cell phone rang, "Mom," She answered glad to hear a familiar voice. "How is it going, haven't talk to you in a week," Her mother pried, "The furniture, stove and refrigerator arrived last evening," She answered toying with the fringe on the sofa pillow. "And I'm cleaning cabinets today," She worded, "Sloan has been packing, I thought you had boxes," She chuckled, "Graduation's next week, has she heard from Brian?" There was silence, "Not a word, I know it hurts her, especially since his visit here, I hope she doesn't get her hopes up," Sasha sighed, "Most likely his rehab," She replied firmly.
