Calm before the storm.....
Jenna gathered the sheet up around her, "I'm sorry, I never meant it, that...," Sasha interjected, "Why are we here? How can you answer the phone and lie to your husband, have you been lying all along?" She smirked raising up to face her. Jenna stared in confusion, "Sasha," Jenna reached forward touching her shoulder, "What was I suppose to tell him? What? Oh Colin by the way, I'm fucking the girl in the farm across the road," She gasped in saying. Sasha pursed her lips, "Do you really love him or am I just a bye for you?" Jenna shook her head, "Have you heard a word I've said? I want to be here, with you, but I've cheated on him, something I said I would never do," She wept.
"Justification for a not so good marriage," Sasha made a stabbing revelation, Jenna lowered her head and sulked, "I told you before, from the moment I met you that something was very special about you, I really didn't know who you were at first, all I knew is that I wanted this," She relaxed laying back down, "You should go home," Sasha remarked refusing to face her. "Please don't act this way," Jenna begged, but felt remorseful, "You have a lot of guilty feelings right now, him calling brought everything to light for you, you love him still and if there is a way you can work this out," Sasha replied honestly. "Sasha," She whispered, "I'm not going to be your daily fuck," Sasha growled reminding her.
Jenna quickly dressed, "I'm gone," She felt angry, Sasha had just painted her into a corner. Sasha heard the door quietly shut she let loose the tears she had been holding back. Jenna ran across the road and into the darkened farm house she covered her face with her hands, "Oh god," She wanted to explode she climb the stairs making her way into the bathroom, a hot shower now pelting her naked skin. Jenna cried loudly sobbing into the washcloth she held in her hands. "Is this truly love?" She questioned in her mind thinking of Colin, "I love him," She answered herself.
"Good morning," Nurse Gibbs looked at Jenna with a frown, "Are you alright? You look a little piqued," She handed her the charts from the nurse's station, "I'm fine," Jenna responded opening up the top chart. "There's a patient in room three," She told her, "Charts on the door," She smiled knowing something was amiss. Jenna saw the patient out and headed to the lounge, "You look like you feel better," Nurse Gibbs noted, "Coffee?" She asked, Jenna nodded. Jenna sat down at a table in the corner of the cafeteria, one sheltered from most everyone. "Here," Jenna grinned, "Thank you," She stirred a packet of sugar in it, "You look like you could use someone to talk to," Nurse Gibbs stated lifting the coffee cup up to her lips.
Jenna ran her fingers through her hair, "I'm ok, really," She took in a deep breath. "Is everything alright with Colin?" She quizzed, "Colin's fine," She was quick with her response, "Have you made any friends?" Nurse Gibbs further inquired, "Not really, sometimes its lonely, but Colin is happy here, I appreciate your concerns, Ms. Gibbs," She smiled, "Barbara, please," She ordered kindly. "You can't live your life just making Colin happy, you deserve a life too, I've known Colin too long and I know he can be difficult," She advised. "How do you survive being widowed?" Jenna attempted to redirect the conversation. "I'm fine, I've managed to keep working and George provided well for me," She replied. "But somehow this isn't about me," She commented.
"Colin is a wonderful man, demanding at times," Barbara gazed into her eyes, "He isn't hurting you is he?" Jenna furrowed her brow, "Not at all, his job is time consuming and I'm left alone a lot," She sipped her coffee sitting the cup back down, "But I have this job, its better than the rush of a big city, four years of that made me realize I wanted something quieter," She spoke in atonement. "You need friends," Barbara was insistent, "I will," She smiled thinking of her contact with Sasha, "Didn't that actress, the Addison woman buy the farm across from you?" Jenna looked away, "Yes," She really didn't want to discuss her. "Have you made any contact since she had her finger sown up?" Jenna's heart ticked, the love they made shadowed her thoughts.
