Suspicions.....
Trask followed Sasha into the kitchen, "I'm sorry," He lowered his head, "I thought the night of the gala when we kissed," Sasha stopped him, "There is someone else in my life," She spoke in a pensive tone knowing he would be hurt by it. "I asked you that," He was quick to respond, "Trask, you must understand my situation, I try to keep things private and under the table, to lead you on would be unfair," She confessed her jaw tight and rigid. Trask's hands clinched the side of the island, "Why didn't you tell me from the start?" He eyed her awaiting an answer, "Because I wasn't sure at that time," She spoke candidly, "So you were just using me?" He pursed his lips angrily. "No, we barely know each other, I like you, I do, but I'm in love with someone else," She finally let the words out.
Trask began to walk to the door, "Trask, please don't be angry," She voiced following him to the door "I have to go, especially before I say something you won't like, you've lied to me," He slammed the door shut, Sasha felt terrible she teared up she had to do what was right. Jenna was her only focus, the woman she loved she needed to see her, tell her what she had done. Sasha text Jenna hoping for a quick answer, but there wasn't one. Sasha sent another text, "Please let me know where you are," She awaited a returned message, it came, "At work," It simply read, Sasha showered, dressed, making her way into town.
Nita finished wiping the counter off, "I'm going over to the hospital to pick up that order list for aunt Barbara," Her father nodded positively. Sasha stood at the counter, "Yes is Dr. Ford available?" The receptionist picked up the phone, "She's in her office," Sasha slowly strolled down the hall, they hadn't left things in a good way, it seemed every time they parted they didn't. "Hey," She entered, Jenna's back to her, "Jenna," She moved close to her, "Why are you here?" She asked with a tremble in her voice, "I wanted to see you, we didn't leave things very good," She tugged at her shoulder turning her around, Jenna's face was flushed from the anxiety of it all.
Surprised by her expression, Sasha commented, "You've been crying, what's wrong?" She pulled her into her arms, they gazed at one another in a moment of silence, "Nothing about what we are doing is right, I'm tired, I," Sasha interjected, "Hey, we love one another, I want to be with you, I told Trask there was someone else," Jenna's facial expression suddenly changed she glared at Sasha, "I saw you kissing Trask on the driveway this morning," Sasha grimaced, "It's not what you think," Jenna hushed her, "It doesn't matter, this won't work, my fears and jealousies get the better of me, I wanted you, all of you, but," She quit talking.
Nita looked at the numbers above the doors as she walked passed each one down the hallway of the hospital she focused her eyes on Sasha and Jenna through the small slatted window of the door she quickly pulled to the side. A partial stare said it all her heart thumped she quickly scanned the hallway to make sure know one was coming. "Please let me go," Jenna begged still clutched in Sasha's arms, "I can't, I love you Jenna," She managed to say, Nita listened carefully to the muffled sounds shocked by what she heard. Sasha's lips met Jenna's in a gentle and pleasing kiss, she relaxed her shoulders letting Sasha's tongue work her mouth over. Nita seeing this pushed herself away finding her aunt's office.
"Oh, Nita," Barbara Gibbs looked up seeing her niece standing there, "Are you alright? Your face is awfully red," Nita swallowed hard, "No, no I'm fine, actually I haven't been more better," She smirked, "I just stopped by to pick up that list for dad," Barbara riffled through her desk draw finding it, "Tell him I'll pick those things up after work," She stood up giving Nita a quick hug and walked her to the door, "Sure thing aunt Barbara," She slowly walked back down the hall meeting Sasha and Jenna coming out of her office. "Oh, fancy meeting you here Ms. Addison, Dr. Ford," She broached her grin impish. "Nita," Sasha was the first to speak, "What brings you by?" Jenna made small talk trying to disguise what she was feeling.
