Who is he that his love is given to me!
The swains on the pond come to his command
What a man he is to love me like this,
Come live with me and be my love for life
And we will dance in pleasures for life,
Under the greenwood tree, you will see are
Love grew, The valleys, groves, hills, and fields,
Woods or a sleepy mountain of love from heaven above,
When the wind blows, we will hold each other close,
We will sit upon the rocks at night and we will count
All the stars in the sky that shine so bright,
By morning we will see the shepherds feed their flocks,
By shallow rivers to whose falls,
Melodious birds sing madrigals to the lover's song of Spring,
When the sessions of sweet silent make its way,
You wouldn't have to fear Jehovah will always be near,
I will make the beds of roses by the window near our bedroom,
So when the summers breeze makes its way,
You will smile the scent of roses when you get up,
You are my love from heaven sent to me,
The shepherds' swains shall dance and sing
For thy delight each May morning:
If these delights thy mind may move,
Then live with me and be my love forever.
