It was a sad river night, where the land was in fright and all the slaves were out fighting for their lives nothing wasn't going right. The ancient river was crying with the weeping wind The gloom moon had given out a dimmer light of true sadness that made so many sighs, It was so cold; yet, so many had to stand bold even the old- with no love insight but the coldness in their hearts.
My love has grown tired that has put my heart on the run that was never fun. I know this was not the way it should be, the river turns another day why the sky is so gloomy gray, I still can see the hurt on your face. Sunshine was a sweet place for you and I. Love was running deep, that was when you were nice to me, you spoke so sweet until you made me cry on that cold winters night.
