WHEN THE SUN GOES DOWN

When the sun goes down
the grave of my cottage is
the clouds all frown
Night has begun for the sunset
I keep my home clean
I am making a pot of marble tea to help me
sleep for dreams-
To my quick ear, I hear the leaves
Fall to the sleepy ground,
The moon shining brightly through
Out this cold winter's night
As the stars dance across the sky to put
Hopes and dreams in the lover's minds
Speechless nights of my life
I sit on my bed thanking God for the life
He has given me-
And the bed to rest my head
As I pray for a better day's to come my way
Love is a gift and we all want it
Even in times like this
We never know what life brings next
Till we are called to rise as one fall
then if we are true to plan
Our statures touche's the skies in our lover's
The eye's for a better life and no colder lonely
Winter's night sleeping alone.
