Chapter Ten

I was lying down on bed since I felt so heavy and was dizzy. I was thirsty so I went or get water from the kitchen when I heard a knock on the door.

I opened the door to see my sisters Alana and Andrina. I was surprised they came me to visit me and especially without informing me.

"Aric! It's so good to see you." Andrina said with her enthusiastic nature and jumped on me with a big hug.

"It's Ariel now, isn't it?" Alana asked and I nodded.

"What brings you to land?" I asked and then they both sighed.

"Well father said that we should bring you home for his birthday plus we have a little problem to discuss." Alana said with a serious expression and I nodded.

"Come in. I'll make tea." I said and they both entered.

When I made tea, they both sat down enjoying the comfort of my house.

"Seems you've made a home of the land that you've always admired." Alana said and I nodded.

"So what's wrong at Atlantica?" I asked then Andrina sipped her tea.

"Seems we're having a few problems with a god. We don't know him but apparently in his first attack he said that he wanted to meet with you in a week time." Andrina informed me and then I thought of Argus.

"Is this god's name Argus?" I asked and they both looked surprised at my question.

"Have you met him?" Alana asked and then I nodded.

"It's been long, about two or three months ago." I informed them and they looked at each other.

"Then you have to come home with us." Alana stated before I looked at her.

"About that, I can't go." I stated and they both looked at me.

"Why?" Andrina asked.

"Because I have a mate now. His a human and if I'm leaving then it's only if he agrees." I informed them and they both looked at each other before looking at me before they shrieked.

"Our little brother is in love. I'm so happy and you never thought to come home to introduce us. You are so gonna get it from father and Attina." Andrina said excitedly and then Alana then laughed.

"No wonder. That might explain why your scent is so different. Your mate is human." Alana said as I nodded.

"What do you mean that my scent is different?" I asked as I tried to notice if my scent changed.

"It's true but you don't smell like those with human mates. It's much sweeter, like honey or sugar. It's almost like your pregnant but that's impossible since mermen can't get pregnant." Andrina said carelessly before she laughed.

For some reasons when she said pregnant, I felt slightly uneasy. Even if mermen could get pregnant, I didn't want a child now especially since I'm forming my bond with Zeke. I also thought of why Argus wanted to talk to me when he could just come here instead of attacking my family.

"Well now that's settled, will you show us around this town and your amazing mate." Alana asked as I blushed while nodding my head.

After changing, we went around town. Andrina was so quick to buying things I had a feeling she wouldn't need but who could blame her. This might be her first time on land unlike Alana who usually visited with Attina.

We were heading to a restaurant for lunch when I saw Neon. He was on his own and waved at me as I waved back. He walked up to me before Andrina came to my side.
