Zeke
I didn't have the patience to wait on Eric's plan because it could take months before it could perfected and maybe years before its carried out.

It was great but it would be a fail if Argus could see through the plans and it would make all our efforts wasted. Since everyone wanted the safest way, I decided to try and push my luck a little and got one of his messengers to take me to Argus after giving my letter of challenge.

I was in a great hall that had a very beautiful waterfall. It was clear and clean and had a very beautiful blue before I heard footsteps.

I watched as I saw a young man with black hair, black eyes and was about the same height as me. He seemed proud and carried that god aura around with him.

"So your the infamous Argus. You really live up to your reputation." I said rudely and then he bowed with a smirk on his face.

"Glad I could live up to your expectations, your even more annoying than your doppelganger or should I say your other half." He said as I stared at him in confusion.

"Meaning?"

"Prince Ariel's former mate died but not everything died with him. Before he gave his last breath, he broke a bit of his soul into fragment and gave it to you so that his mate would still have a mate." He informed me making me surprised.

"You were born with my curse but you were dying. When you were close to death, his soul chose you and then took that part of your soul causing you harm and replaced it with his. You always looked like him but your personalities differ." He explained and then I believed him because he wasn't lying.

"It's weird. I've always hated Uriel because he was always a better person both in good and evil. He was the grey of every black and white." He added as he slowly walked closer to me.

"But knowing a part of him is in you, I'll have the satisfaction of winning him for the first time in my life." He said before he drew out his sword while I pulled out mine fast and defended myself.

"Your impressive for a mortal but your still no match for me. You need to live for a thousand years before you can beat me." He said as I blocked all his attack.

"Stop bragging much till you actually defeat me." I responded and then I blocked his attack before I spines to the left and kicked him.

I went straight on to him and we started to fight. Argus was really great in fighting but it was obvious that he hadn't picked a sword in years.

"I guess my skills have gotten a little rusty." Argus said as I spinned my sword as he cracked his bones.

"I'm also taking it easy on you, now let's get serious." I said before I ran towards him and started to strike him with force.

He dodged most of my attacks and blocked when he could as I increased my speed and force and then he made a mistake leaving him open and then I stroke but he was swift and moved.

"Impressive. You almost had me." He said as I smirked making him surprised when there was a deep cut across his cheek.

"Your a god, it'll heal." I said and then he became furious.

"You've tested me enough mortal!" He said angrily before he charged at me with everything he had.

We started fighting and then as the battle got heated, Argus cut his blade on my arm before I screamed in pain but it didn't stop me from fighting.

I was fighting and defending when he struck my leg and then I saw as the warm red blood was flowing. I tried to strike but he kicked my injured leg. I fell on fours and I felt him walking closer to me.

"You were a worthy opponent for a human but all ends now."

"STOP!!!" I heard a voice shout and then I turned to see a young boy run and protect me before Argus stroke.

I felt as blood spilled on my face. I looked up to see Argus' sword passing through the young boys guts. Argus too was shocked and then I watched as the boy hugged Argus despite the fact he was stabbed by him.

Argus pulled out the sword making the boy to jerk before he fell into Argus' hand. He was bleeding so much as Argus pressed his hand on his wounds while silent tears fell down his face.

"You have to do the right thing." The boy whispered weakly as Argus focused on trying to heal him.

"Shut up and let me heal you!" He shouted but the boy held his hand strongly.

"Don't make Ariel suffer because of your resentment. Please let him go because it's right." He pleaded with Argus but he cried and held him close to him.

"You shouldn't have escaped from that room, you should have stayed. You never listen to me do you." He said as he touched the boy's face with his bloody hand.

"That's because I love you." He said before tears strayed down his own eyes and then he looked at me before he looked at Argus.

"Do what's right." He continued before he kissed Argus and then Argus pulled out a key and gave it to him.

"Take it." Argus said as the boy stretched his hand to me.

I took it from him and he smiled at me before he looked at Argus. I squeezed the key tightly before I walked down the hall but paused to look at them.

"Please can you take me to that playground that we first met." He requested and then Argus nodded before he held him tightly and disappeared.

I looked forward after sometime and then I ran, followed the halls to wherever it took me while ignoring my pain.

I stopped at a large door and then I saw the keyhole that required I insert the key. I put it in and unlocked the door before I pushed it open.

I looked forward to see Red who had a worried expression but then cried in joy when he saw me.

"Red." I said before I ran to him and hugged him tightly because I had missed him so much. He was crying happily and wanted to say something but words couldn't come out.

"I'm never letting you out of my sight again." I said before I kissed him all over his face making him giggle.

I felt like I was finally home. I was finally in the arms of the one that made me warm. The bearer of my child.

"Let's go home." I said and then I cleaned his eyes and he nodded with a smile on his face.
