A notification set her phone's screen on. The clock marked 10:41 pm.

She quickly realized that the clicks were coming from the Van de Graaff generator. It seemed to be on, but Y/N checked, it wasn't plugged anywhere. She walked around it, it definitely seemed to be on.
However, Y/N he couldn't possibly know that 43 years before, in 1974, the four members of Queen had the same one on their hands, also brought by Brian, and both timelines would align and create a massive energy bomb.

The generator was going to be used for a group dynamic tomorrow, Brian loved doing those.
Y/N felt the urge to know what would happen if she touched it. If it didn't explode, no one would know that she did it and, technically, she wasn't the one that turned it on. She wanted, needed to know. She wouldn't be able to sleep if she didn't, she knew that.

Same situation, different timelines.

10:44 pm.

Her hand touched the cold metal at the same time Brian's did, Roger, Freddie and John were next. The five of them felt the electricity run through their veins.

The energy bomb they created was too much and the Unierse became unbalanced.

Light flickered on and off and dimmed by themselves, Y/N took a deep breath and tried to take her hand off the metal, but she barely could move her arm. It hurt and she felt her skin melt, but when she looked at her fingers, they were intact. She's sure she heard one of the lights explode, the sound was followed by a blinding gleam and then pure darkness.

[...]

The back of her head ached. She had to blink a few times to get used to the darkness around her.

The first thing she saw was the ceiling, none of the lights seemed broken, but they weren't all on. Just the one close to Freddie's house scenario.

The first thing she heard were groans.

Forgetting that she could have a head trauma, she pivoted her body.

The second thing she saw was what she thought to be not three, but four, young women laying a few meters away from her. In Freddie's house scenario.

Afraid of what they could be, Y/N made herself get up. Her arms complained as she realized how sore her body was, something had drained her energy. Each step hurt more than the last.

She only realized they were men when she approached them, immediately covering her mouth when she looked at their faces.

That had to be some sort of prank, maybe Joe or Rami knew she would be curious enough to turn on the generator, but how would they know about it in the first place? Maybe they didn't and it was just a coincidence. Or... ghosts! But no, Roger, John and Brian are still very alive.

Y/N squatted next to Brian and poked his arm with your finger. Nothing.

'Are they dead?' she thought. 'Are they... they? If they're they, did I just killed Queen? Or four random people who look scarily like them?'

'Which is still bad, Y/N, maybe worse,' she berated herself.

Y/N paid attention to their chests, they were moving up and down, as they should. That made her relax as much as the situation allowed. She squatted next to Brian, trying to see if that was Gwylim in his costume. She couldn't tell. Y/N didn't want to admit to herself who those people were, so she got herself on her feet and went on a quest to find her phone. She needed a picture to compare.

She found it on the yellow table, but when she turned around, the four Queen members were standing, their backs facing her.

"What the fuck?" she whispered. How was this even possible?

"Where the fuck?" she heard an oddly familiar voice. She refused to recognize who that voice belonged to.

"Not where. How." A soft voice corrected. "How the fuck?" the voice asked. "We were just at your house, now we're... At Freddie's..."

"Not Freddie's, Frieddie's parents..." another person spoke, clearly trying to hide a certain thrill. "That's fantastic."

Y/N's legs lost their balance when she heard the next voice. She had to place both hands on the table to keep herself steady. Her hands were shaking so much she feared breaking it.

"Yes, yes, a great deal of fucks. Will anyone explain me what the fuck is going on?"

She had to do something, but what? She would be lucky if she remembered how to speak before fainting.

Y/N cleaned her throat, feeling her mouth suddenly dry. She still didn't know what she'd say but that dragged their attention faster than she thought it would.

"What are you doing at my- my parents house?" Freddie asked. Roger folded his arms.

"I..." She looked at Freddie with wide open eyes, he raised his eyebrows, waiting for an answer. "I... I don't know how you guys got in but you need to leave."

Roger laughed loud and exaggeratedly. "Excuse me? Why would we need to leave? Lady," he said, giving a step closer to her, "I don't know what you're on but I'd definitely like some of it."

Brian bulged his eyes at Roger and he placed a hand on his friend's shoulder, pulling him back to where he was. "No, he wouldn't."

Everything's telling her to turn and run, but she can't seem to look away.

"We also don't know how we got in here," John said sheepishly. "If that makes anything better."

"This," she spoke, groping the table as she tried to find anything useful, "isn't where you think it's," her hand felt the cup of coffee, that would have to do the job. "And I don't think you're who you think you're." She pointed the coffee at them, threatening to throw it.

"You're in a house that's not yours, threatening people with a cup," Roger said, trying to get rid of Brian's hand, "I don't think I need to say who looks like the insane one here."

Y/N didn't notice how close Freddie had gotten. He was inches away from her.

"What's this?" He asked, looking at the photo album. "Why are you going through that?" Freddie took the book on his hands, noticing her phone by its side. "What is this?" He didn't wait for an answer. "Never mind, just... Leave. We don't want to call the cops, I'm sure my parents are sleeping, take whatever you need, but leave."

She opened her mouth, but words refused to come out. Y/N was still processing that it was Queen in front of her. Queen in their 70s era, it's November, so they've just released their third album, probably. They aren't famous yet.

Y/N felt dizzy. Everything went dark again and she was out before her body hit the ground.

Brian ran towards her. Roger followed him.
"Nice going, Freddie" Brian said, trying to make sense of the situation.

The possibility of discovering a way of teleportation overwhelmed him and he wanted to go back home and write about it as soon as possible. But it was a human life there. He thought they should call someone, but who?

"She literally invaded my house, Brian, should I offer her tea?" Freddie answered, annoyed. He squatted next to Y/N unconscious body; Roger was already there, he had carefully placed her head on his knees. "She even made herself some coffee, isn't that lovely?" Freddie sighed, he squinted at Roger "Weren't you almost yelling at her?"

"I'm kind of a doctor, right? What if she hurt her head?"
