[A/N]: Hello, everyone! Has been a few days haha. I hope y'all enjoy this chapter, it took me a while to write it and I'll try to post more often. Remember to wash your hands! 💕🐙

"Roger, this isn't funny." you were trying to sound serious enough for him to understand and quit playing.

Brian had woken up early too, since he wanted to talk to you before you went to work. Roger's eyes widened when he saw one of his best mates.

"Ok, what the hell happened last night? And why are you here too?" the blond asked extremely confused. If anything happened between you two, he didn't want Brian there to listen.

The curly haired man looked at you, your angry expression softened when you realized that Roger wasn't kidding and it hit you like a tidal wave.

What if being in the future did have its side effects? Did you just make one of the most famous bands drummer lose his memories?

"Y/N? Can I talk you, privately?" Brian asked.

His calm voice made you sigh, you wanted to stay there and figure it out what was happening but you came to the conclusion that maybe talking to the guitarist would be better.

"You stay here and eat something." Brian said in an almost fatherly way before turning his attention back to you. Roger was still confused but at least now he new your name.

You and Brian went to another room, your room to be precisely, and you felt like he already knew what was going on.

"Spit it out." you said as soon as you sat on your bed, eyes glued to someone that shouldn't even be there. Brian should be in the 70s, just like the rest of them. Somehow you felt guilty even though this whole situation wasn't really your fault.

Brian rubbed the back of his neck, he was trying to find the right words to break the news to you.

"I think I know what's happening." Brian said not
looking at you.

"And that is...?" you asked trying to contain yourself while your mind started creating the worst scenarios.

"First, don't take it personally, Roger really likes you." he began and then stopped to finally look at you. He wanted to make it as painless as possible. "It's not the first time it happened."

You widen your eyes and if you weren't sat down, you would probably had fallen backwards.

"What do you mean by that...?" you asked even though you were afraid of the answer.

"Roger keeps forgetting who you are, you don't know because he usually wakes up after you leave for work." Brian sighed and sat beside you, he wanted to be supportive.

Even though Brian wasn't the biggest fan of any relationship beyond friendship between Roger and you, he wanted to show that he was there for you. After all you had become friends. You remained quiet as you tried to process this information. Brian took your silence as a sign to continue talking.

"We always remind him and he seems to remember everything after a few minutes. I think I have a theory about the reason why but I can't really say it's true." he said and you nodded, you didn't wanted to say anything.

"So... I think the reason why Roger keeps forgetting about you it's because he has feelings for you. And he shouldn't, so the Universe is trying to erase that," Brian put his hand on your shoulder. "he remembers that we're in the future, he also remembers Sarah... So I really think it is about his feelings towards you..."

You pressed your lips together, you really wanted to cry. At least he still remembers another things.

"D-do you think it's gonna get worse?" you managed to ask under your breath.

Brian sighed and rested his head on top of yours, which was on his shoulder. "Yes... And I think we really need to go back to our time, Y/N. We loved meeting you but I think that Roger losing his memories of you is just the beginning and something worse can happen."

You felt so guilty. You knew that the only person that could possibly help you and the band was 2017 Brian. So that's what your life is now, just a fucking cosmic chess game. And you don't know how to play chess.

"Invading the physics institute doesn't seem like such a bad idea now, does it?" you asked jokingly even though you were a bit hurt.

Brian snorted and looked at you shaking his head. "I really don't want to add burglar to one of the things I am." he stood and held his hand out to help you do the same.

"It's going to be ok, you know? We just need to wait a few more days," you sighed as you took his hand. "the only person I know that can help is traveling again."

"You make it seems like he's famous or something like this." Brian let out a breathe laugh and you just smiled at him.

You and Brian went back to the kitchen and walked into a really interesting conversation between Roger, Freddie and John.

"Is it like a deja vu?" John asked and gave a bite on his toast.

"No, there isn't anything familiar about it." Roger took a sip of his coffee.

"Of course it isn't." Freddie said gesturing while pouring some juice to him. "Deja vu is when you remember something, this is an anti deja vu."

"Good to see you are feeling okay again." you said with a smile. Freddie was only getting worse but he apparently was finally feeling better.

"Thank you, dear! I woke up feeling good and I have something to show you later."

"Y/N, hi..." Roger shyly said looking at you with a small smile on his lips.

"Hey... Hi, Deaky." you said shifting your gaze from Roger to John, who smiled at you and said good morning.

"Guys, I gotta go. Don't wait me up because I have this family dinner, have fun and don't break anything." you smiled while grabbing some fruit to eat on your way to work. "Freddie, don't forget what you want to show, Rog... can we talk later? John and Bri, please be the adultier adults here. I love you guys, stay safe."

The work was just exhausting, for some reason the set's energy was heavy, almost sad. There was a lot of argument during the shooting, especially between you and Ben, over the stupidest and smallest things. Rami, Gwil, John and Lucy had to calm you guys down most of the times.

After work you went to your parents house and were there now, just waiting for your family members start to make questions like 'Why are you not dating?' or 'Why did you leave med school?' at least now you could say that you are a movie director, even though it's just temporary but they  don't have to know about this detail.

It was really boring. You answered the all questions your relatives made and talked to everyone you liked and disliked.

When everyone calmed down, you decided to check your phone. You had received an oddly amount of text messages and phone calls from Sarah.

You were petrified once you managed to read the texts. You felt like there was no ground underneath you anymore and you were just falling into a mix of sadness and darkness. You lowered your head and slumped your shoulders, not want to believe in what Sarah had just told you. You were trying so hard not to cry.

You sat still for around ten minutes, processing. Every negative heart-wrenching emotion running through your body and it finally hit you. You stood up from the couch and went to the bathroom, you really didn't want to cry, specially in front of your family.

When the bathroom door was closed you slid down until you were sit there, feeling the tears rapidly falling down your cheeks. You didn't care about your makeup being ruined or anything at that moment. You didn't just lose someone you liked to talk to, you had lost a person that was like a mother to you. Gloria is dead.
