Out of all of the people tonight, I never thought I'd run into him. The thing that I've learned from being friends with both, Christian, and Nathaniel, the two of them being in the same room isn't exactly a good thing.

"What are you doing here?" I ask him. He looks at me with a devilish grin.

"I came to have fun like everyone else. Why are you here? I thought parties weren't exactly your scene right now." He asks.

I shrug, and take a step back. "Alex, and Mari dragged me here." I say.

He nods slowly. "I figured. How long are you staying?" He asks as if we weren't avoiding each other for the past month.

I fold my arms, and stare him in the face. "Why do you care?" I ask bluntly. He chuckles, and shrugs.

"I just came for the free booze." He admits.

The only difference between Christian, and Nathaniel is..

He doesn't know how to apologize.

"Great, well that's nice. Can you get out of my way now?" I say quickly. He takes a step aside, giving me yet little space to pass, and As I was past him he steps in front of me with a smirk.

I sigh and look at him. "Nate." I say in a stern voice. He chuckles, and nods. "Sorry love."
He slowly steps out of my way and I roll my eyes. As much as I miss his games, I'm not ready to jump into that.

I glance around, deciding what I'd like to drink. Everything here is mostly vodka, and beer which I'm not in the mood for either. I quickly spot the Gin, and I grab the bottle pouring the drink. I feel a sudden breath onto my neck and Nathaniel's voice.

"Gin? Not my favorite." He says. I nod slowly, not wanting to engage in a conversation with him. "It's not my favorite either but I'm sick of beer, and Vodka." I say. He chuckles, and reaches over me grabbing the bottle of vodka.

"Well, more for me then." He says as I glance at him. I look at his arm noticing a new tattoo that he has. It's a bird. I can't exactly make it out. But I do know it's a type of bird. I continue to observe his arm, intrigued by the tatted guy in front of me.

He grins, and leans back on the counter. "Like something you see?" He asks. I part my lips, not knowing what to say and nods. "You got a new tattoo." I say. He nods slowly.

"Yeah? What about it?" I don't want to make a big deal out of it, but then again anything involving Nathaniel intrigues me. He looks at his arm and back at me. "It reminds me that I'm free to make any decision that I want, meaning I can go anywhere, or do anything that I'd like.

It makes sense, but I never would've took him for someone who was interested in symbolic meanings. "Right, that's cool I guess." I begin to walk off, and he quickly wraps his hand around my wrist. "Hey, wait." He says.

I look at his hand, and then his wrist. "Yeah?"  I ask. He sighs and licks his lips a bit looking at me. "I'm not sorry that you found out about what happened, but the only thing that I am sorry about is the fact that you'd think that I'd ever do something like that to you."

I scoff. Why does he have to be so stubborn? A simple, "Hey I'm sorry." Would've sufficed. I won't lie, I'm hurt at the fact that he believes that I see nothing but the bad in him. I don't. I have faith that someone like Nathaniel could change, I just wish he'd have that same amount of thought.

"Do you regret it?" I ask hesitantly. He looks at me, and shakes his head with a blank expression. "No, I don't." He says without zero emotion. I gulp and clench my jaw a bit looking at him. "She didn't deserve that, and neither did Jason." I say trying to defend them.
