Christian pulls up to the dorms, and we sit in the car for a moment in silence.
"Thank you, for uh, driving me." I say politely.
He nods. "Of course, I had a feeling both Mari, and  Alex would be drunk off of their asses so, I knew giving you a ride would've been a good idea."
I smile, and a small chuckle escapes my mouth. "Yeah, I don't think they'd be able to leave the party with the amount of alcohol they'll take in." I say.
He runs his fingers through his hair while laughing. "Yeah those two are something.
I smile, "Yeah, but they're my best friends so i'd deal with them, drunk or sober any day."
"They're lucky to have you..uh maybe one day you know, we can go to that chinese place you like so much." He says.
Like a date? Christian and I are still hanging by a thread, is Chinese even a good idea?
As much as I'd like to patch things up with him, there's also Nathaniel. I need to fix things with him as well. Even if he messed up, If I'm willing to give Christian a chance, I could do the same with him.
After that, I don't know what else to do.
                              One step at a time..
"Yeah, Chinese sounds good." I say smiling in his direction. His face lights up and his cheeks brighten.
"Wait really?" He asks. I nod slowly.
"Yeah, what's the harm?" I say.
He nods and clears his throat.
I don't see a problem with patching up our friendship, there was a time where I wished that we stayed friends, that part was always better.
"If you want I can walk you up, you know..make sure you get to your room safely." He says.
                              Oh no..
If it's one thing that I need, is self restraint. I try to think of how this would be bad in my case..
"No." I say quickly. "It's not that I dont want you to come up it's just, we have to take whatever this is slow."
"And I may want to kiss you, or do something more." My subconscious adds.
He looks at me with parted lips and looks forward at the steering wheel. "I get it, uh no worries." He says rubbing his neck and smiling a bit, but not towards me.
As much as I want to say screw what I said, I have to learn self restraint. I can't keep doing what we want, I need to focus on what we need.
For some reason I don't know what that would be.
"I'll see you later?" I ask.
"Yeah," He says looking at me. "Tomorrow." He adds.
I smile, and slowly get out of the car walking my way up to the dorm.
I walk inside, and scream as I see a tatted guy in all black sitting on my bed, I look closer, noticing the person and scoff.
"Nathaniel What the fuck!" I shout.
Nathaniel, it's Nathaniel sitting on my bed. How the hell did he get in? I could've sworn the door had been locked.
He looks my way with red eyes, and for a moment I soften. "What happened? How'd you get in?" I ask slowly, and quietly.
