I slowly pull away from Sam's arms. Teary eyes, tiredness. You name it. Honestly I didn't think heartbreak could be this bad. He looks down at me, and I try to control my emotions as of now.
"If you need to cry again you can." He says quietly. I shake my head no slowly and wipe my eyes. "No, I'm fine." I say quickly. He sighs, and scratches his head. "No you're not." Look.." He starts off and I stop him.
"So what was the aim for tonight huh? Did you guys plan this out? Was this the objective of tonight or something?" I say angrily. He scoffs, and backs away a bit. "What? No. Look we didn't think she'd show up!" He says raising his voice a bit.
I fold my arms. "But you knew he had a girlfriend. You knew that and no one bothered to tell me!" I shout back. I'm angry. Not at the fact that I was extremely humiliated, but the fact that no one bothered to mention this to me. I'm dying at the fact that it's not even two months and he's talking to someone else.
"No. He specifically told us not to tell you. Why? Because he planned on telling you himself! I would been said something if he didn't plan on telling you." He says in defense.
I clench my jaw holding back the tears, but they force themselves out. "But he didn't. Okay he didn't tell me, anything. He let me sit there looking like some fucking joke, and then-" I pause holding my head trying to contain everything.
He grabs my hand gently. "Hey, look I know that you're upset right now but just- talk to him." He says softly to me. I look up at him and shake my head. "No, I can't. I'll look like a fool. Plus I have no idea what I'd say." I say.
"Just, let the words come out. I get it, you don't want to look crazy, but just ask him. Say what you feel." He says to me. I close my eyes and nods slowly. "Okay. I'll uh-I'll try." I say trying to sound confident.
He looks at me with sorrow in his eyes. "Do you want me to come with you?" He asks. I can't have Sam, and Tyler as my bodyguards for the rest of my life. I have to fight this on my own as well. I shake my head, and walks downstairs spotting him talking to Tyler.
The room gets quiet as Sam, and I walk back in. I look at Christian, and everyone goes back to doing what they were normally doing. I know my friends, I wouldn't be surprised if they ease-dropped.
"Can we talk?" I ask looking at him. He looks at me, and rubs his neck awkwardly. "Uh yeah." He walks to the empty hallway and I slowly follow him. I'm not sure how this is going to go.  Knowing both of us, we have tempers. Harsh words are bound to be shared.
We stop at the far end of the hall, away from everyone and I lean back onto the wall holding my forearm. "So uh..when were you going to tell me?" I ask slowly. He looks at me and parts his lips before thinking.
"I was going to. I didn't know when they right time was going to be." He says. I scoff.
"How about before she walked in the door? Do you not know how humiliating that was?"
He sighs and rubs his face before letting his hands fall down beside him. "I know, Leah. But let's face it, it was going to be hard to just- tell you out of everyone else that I was talking to someone else."
"Oh yeah, the fact that a month after we break up you decide to get another girlfriend." I spit.
He furrows his eyebrows and looks at me. "She's not my girlfriend." He says slowly to me.
The embarrassment sets in. If she's not his girlfriend then what is she?
"So what is she like, your make out buddy?" I say bluntly. He scoffs in defense. I mean I'm not wrong though. You don't just randomly go up to people and just kiss them unless there is some kind of relationship going on, or strings.
"No, actually she's my distraction." He says folding his arms and leaning back.
I gulp. "Distraction from what?" I ask hesitantly. He gives me a look, and squints his eyes.
"From what else? You. Leah." He pauses and takes a step forward. "Ever since that night, I've been extremely fucked up! I couldn't eat, I couldn't sleep, all I could do was drink, and get high. Life has been shitty without you." He looks at me, and places his hands onto my shoulders.
I force myself to look up at him. "Losing you, was the worst thing that has happened to me in a long time." He say softly.
I don't know what to do, or what to say. Right now I just want to kiss him. He places his hand onto my cheek and rubs his thumb along it. "I love you. I've always loved you." He says, inches away from my face. I look into his eyes, and his eyes motion to my lips.
"I love you too." I say quietly.
He bites down softly onto his lip, and leans in pressing his lips against mine. I slowly wrap my arms around his neck, kissing him back not wanting to stop. He rests his hands onto my waist, deepening the kiss but forces himself away.
I let out a small breath, and he rests his forehead onto mine. "Sorry, I've been waiting to do that since you came." He says quietly. I put my lips together and nod. "Don't apologize. It was one of the first thing on my mind." I say.
He chuckles softly to himself and nods. "Nice to know I'm still close to your mind, or should I say my lips?" He says teasingly. I laugh quietly and lightly shove him.
"Don't flatter yourself." I say with a smile.
He looks at me and smiles back before quickly letting it drop. "I uh, do you want me to take you home?" He asks.
I furrow my eyebrows thinking. "What about Donna?" I ask him. He scoffs. "I can cancel. Just let me drive you." He insists. I nod slowly.
"Okay, uh lets go tell everyone." I say and he nods walking down before me.
We walk to everyone, with eyes on us. "I don't see Leah crying, meaning everything's good" Sam asks. Christian rolls his eyes at him. "I'm gonna go take her home." He says.
Mari grins. "Just in case you two have make up sex or something don't do anything on our bed."
I shake my head and give her a small glare. Everyone chuckles. "Safe driving you two." Tyler says.
I look at Christian, ready as ever. "I'm ready when you are." I say. He nods and grabs his keys. "We'll see you guys tomorrow." He says grabbing my hand and quickly walking out.
