Today is the day. Lynn Bishop is finally coming over. You pick her up at the airport and she runs to you, hugging you tightly. You spin her around in you and when you put her down to look at her she looks a fucking LOT like jade. Like its fucking uncanny how much the two of them look alike. There are small differences but.. holy shit.
Earlier you had asked Rose is you and lynn and aradia could stay at her place whille shes here since your apartment is so tiny and she of course said yes "the more the merrier" as she put it.
So now, you are at Roses house where already aradia is setting up a room in vriskas old one. You take lynn there and rose comes in to check up on it all. "Hello ladies" she says "oh, wow... you really need to meet my girlfriend" she says "oh?" says lynn "you two look nearly identical it is... insane" rose clears her throat "anyways, welcome to the maryam-lalonde estate. please, make yourself at home and let me or my wife know if there is anything we can do to make you more comfortable"
"oh wow! okay hehe!" says lynn with that trademark grin of hers. "acually, i was wondering if i can cook something tonight? i have this recipe ive been perfecting the last few months and i think its finally ready for everone to try!"
"ah, youre a cook? fantastic" says rose "yes you can absolutely use our kitchen and anything in it" rose says and leaves without any parting words she just walks away.
Around in the evening times Jade AHarley makes her way to the roses house and she is there. You go downstairs to see her and lynn staring at each other. "OMG. WHY ARE YOU ME. IM ME" says jade, standing like spiderman. Lynn is also standing like spiderman "UH LIKEWISE" she says and giggles. they are both laughing very much and it is good.
"Lol so i see you met jade" you say "yeah you guys look crazy alike you could be twins or some shit" you say. "yeah this is weird!" jade says. "totally!" says lynn. "omg what if we are twins separated at birth or something like in the parent trap" jade says and her face looks like O.O
Lynn makes the same face. Like the exact same face like their faces are so fucking similar its freaking you out just a little bit. "If we touch will the universe explode?" lynn says. "only one way to find out!" jade holds up her hand. The two of the long dark haired round bespectabled girls high five, and the universe does not in fact explode. "nope!" lynn says and laughters and they both have a good laff x.
"Well i need to get started on my soup!" lynn says "oh you are making soup?" you say "yeah! it's called friendship soup and its a recipe i developed mysefl!" she responders. "omg that is so fucking lit.. friendship soup.. that is literally so epic what a good and appropriate name i love you" you say. lynn blooshes and giggles and heads off to the kitchen
"wow!" says jade to you. "that is crazy! you and her are best friends.. and you and me are best friends.. and we are like clones of each one and other !" she say. "yeah lol" you say because you cant think of anything else to say you just stare at jade awkwardly. "im gonna go watch her cook i think" you say "ok!" says jade.
And you do. You go into the kitchen wher Lynn Bishop is cooking away, adding a bunch of things to a pot. You see potatoes and tomato paste and salt and pepper and other many types of seasonings all going into it! she takes a ittle taste with a spoon every once of the while to make sure and it is like rattedtoueli up in here you swear! It is like watching that little rat do his ratty rat thing :') you are tearing up over here!
"oH FUCK! hi mari! i didnt know you were in here omg u scared me" says lynn
"omg lol sorry hi. you lok like rattattoullie i love it" you say "oMG REALLY" she says and smiles big "i aspire to be just like that little rat i love him so much!!!" she says "yeah he is good" you say. "here do you want a taste? it needs to cook for a while, but you can at least have a sippy" she says, offering youa sppoon. "omg hell yeah" you say and take it.
You sipping the soupy and it is DELINCHOUS hands doubw best you ever tasted "oh my god lynn this is already amazing!" you say
"ah you really think so? hehe.." she is blushing so much. "thank you" she twirls her gamer hair with her gamer hand and she is a gamer and also a cook and chef right now but her main thing is gaming and i want to make that abundantly clear that lynn is a gamer girl. She gets back to stirring her soup and she looks like an old timey witch stirring her stew... potions...
THE SOUP IS COMPLETED! You, Aradia, and Jade all sit on the couch with hungry bellies as Lynn brings to you.. the soup. "okay everyone!" she says "here it is! my friendship soup!" she hands the eaches of you a bowl of it "i really hope you all like it i worked really hardly on this resippy" she says with a clasp of the hands.
You take a bite. holy fuck.The potatoes. the magical spices. The chicken that she apparently put in there. It is al so decadent and crisp and delightful and you love it. You start to cry. "omg mari are you okay???" lynn says
"i'm... lynn.. this soup is so fucking good you should go on like master chef or some shit for real tho" you say to her. "GAH i dont know about all that hehe!!!" she says with a bloosher. "for real" you say with a sip taking again. It tastes like god's sweet nectar. except savory because it is a dinner soup not a dessert one hey do dessert soups exist? Melted choclat.e heh yes.
After the soup has been gulped down by everyone, who all of each gave them fantastic reviews of course, you all just sit around as the fire burns in the fire place that rose has because why not.
"Man, lynn im really glad that we are all gettig along so well! I was kind of worried that since it had been so long that things would have changed tooo much but.. it really is jus like old times" you say
"Well, mari, you know what they say," sas lynn. "what?" you ask.
"A soul still burns."
