"oh wonderful!" marble comes rushing over but stops and is kind of frozen when she sees the alien ghost beside you. "ok so like dont freak out shes a ghost alien and she needs somewhere to stay"
"oh wow like from contact?" marble asks
"what?? mom no that wasnt a ghost alien i keep trying to explain this to you"

"in contact the alien projects itself as jodie fosters dad to make her feel more comfortable while it tells her what is going on! it's not actually her dads ghost!" you explain
marbles puts her hands on her hips "but i thought that in the beginning when she was trying to reach her dead dad over radio that that was the final step and that she had finally reached him!" she says
"noooo omg mom it was an ALIEN ONLY using COOL ALIEN TECH to make itself look like her dead dad!!!" marble just sighs, still confused.
penny coms over to see whats up "where were you all day?" she asks with a crossed arm. just one. "yeeeeesh mom dont have a crap attack" marble gasps "WHO TAUGHT HER THAT" she yells indignantl. "well i am sleeby! cmon aradia you can sleep in my bed" you say with an inside smilk. its when you smilk, but only on the inside. because you dont want to be weird about it or anything or freak her out
"i am a ghost so i do not sleep, but i will pretend to if it will make you more comfortable."
"oh okay" you say. thats pretty neat. sometimes you wish you didnt have to sleep and that you cold instead stay up all night playing fortnite going to tilted towers. wow a lot of my humor now surrounds around the rtf games huh. anyways. you lead her over to your bed and take off yur shoes before clibming in. she does the same. "this is weird" she says
oh no does she think its weird to share a bed with you oh no. oh no. in your head you are like please do not leave me forever crying emoji "on my planet we sleep in slime pods" she says. oh. "oh!" you say. she nods. "i dont think i would be able to sleep in a.. what did you say? bed? my horns are too much in the way. we sleep in slime and just chill in the pod and dont lay or head on anything so those of us with the more obstrusive horns can still sleep soundly. i hope tarvos is ok back at the kids house..." she says oh boy yeah that dudes got huge ass horns he probably just gonna sleep on his back all night thats gotta SUCK.
"oh well um you dont have to pretend to slepe or anything then you can just like hang out. or here!" you grab your laptop from next to you in bed and hand it to her. "you can go on the internet and stuff! make some social medias! looks like some of your friends already have done that!" you gorgle. "who?" she asks "um fish boy??? i dont remember his name"
"oh eridan. that checks" she says and takes your laptop. "this is not unlike a computing device that i once owned. it is interesting how similar your planets technology seems to be thus far" you are staring at her. "what is it"
"what! oh nothing sorry i was just sitting here its nothing hahahaha" you say and are nervous and sweaty also.
"it is alright. i have caught myself staring at you as well. you are quite unique for a human" she pats your hand "oh! aww well thank you :)" you say
"oh. is that thing your mom did genetic?" she asks
"oooh lol no im adopted my moms cant have babies they are trans" you say
"how would that impede them from carrying a baby?" she seems confused.
"because they dont have- oh boy we're gonna have to teach you about the birds and the bees huh..." you trail off

"ill go!" marble says, quickly leaving with her dinner to the bedroom. you sigh a breathing releiving an seeing the preeting she is here. "hm. that is very interesting." you nod at each other for a logn time and then just sit there in silence. oh boy. you devide to just go an get some shut eye so you lay down and try to fall asleep while aradia sits next to you on your laptop, typing away. you cannot believe you just had to give a sex ed talk to an alien species. you wish it was like in contact where the aliens downloaded all of her memories and so they already knew everything.
The next morning you awaken and do your little stretchy thing and the go BAH AND jump and fall out of bed because aradia is staring at you and you forgot she es there. "FUCK you scared me.. were you just watcing me sleep this whole time???" you say
"your laptop died and i couldnt find the cord what else was i supposed to do" she explains.
"oh... i guess thats fair" you say. you make yourself some toast and then you are both off to school!
