She's doing it again. Out at odd hours of the night for God knows how long, doing God knows what. Leigh-Anne hates that her girlfriend is this way. Her nerves would send uncomfortable tingles through her wrists to her finger tips.

Her leg would bounce as she sits in the easy chair in the darker girl's dorm. Her face screwed into a semi-permanent worried expression. She'd check her time ever so often, though the time would barely move a second closer to a minute.

A huff of breath would pass her lips with a hand running through her dark, curly hair. She'd quietly pray, hoping her girlfriend would be alright. Leigh-Anne would tell Jade to stop, that it'll put more of a strain on their slowly falling relationship. Though, she sadly doesn't listen.

Her friends would tell her to leave, but she believes she could fix her. In the beginning of their relationship, people thought Jade would hurt Leigh-Anne.

Before they met, she used to break hearts. She'd say that she'll love them, make them feel like the only one then before you know it, the poor girl is sitting on her living room floor, crying.

But Leigh-Anne didn't listen to them. She'd say, "You just don't know her like I do." That was until Jade got drunk and said a few words that left Leigh-Anne hurt.

Though, the Arabic girl would come back, apologize, and kiss it all better.

At that point, she knew she wanted to fix her. The fact that she's been trying for the 10 months they've been together, suggests that there's no progress.

Leigh-Anne was weary of it; but she was determined and stubborn as all hell. Though, really sensitive so she'd cry some nights.

What would make her cry harder is that all these month, she knows almost nothing about Jade while the latter could make a timeline.

A bright side to this is that Jade never pressured Leigh-Anne to do anything she doesn't want to do. She let Leigh-Anne decide when she'd be ready for their first time. Well, Leigh-Anne's first time.

With a girl, that is.

Jade never cheated or verbally abused her. Never called her out of her name or threatened to do anything to harm her.

Leigh-Anne guesses that's why she still loves her. She started planning a future for them, but the way Jade acts makes it difficult to see it clearly.

Leigh-Anne only asked where has she been and saw the lies stirring in her large, brown eyes. She thought "Why bother?" But her being who she is, she couldn't help, but bother.

Jade did actually try to stop, but old habits die hard.

She hates that she does this to her sweetheart of a girlfriend. Her heart would break at the pools forming around her exhausted, sad eyes.

Exhausted from hardly sleeping. Exhausted from putting up with her. Exhausted from throwing her energy into an adult with a childish mentality.

The days she was sober, she'd take Leigh-Anne out on dates, knowing she loved when no one was around to interrupt them. They'd make love in the moonlight, sounds of pleasure overpowering the soothing waves.

In those moments is when everything was normal. No bottle around, but their bed in plain sight. When their bodies would connect so intimately, nothing but love would fill their eyes.

They'd reach their highs together, afterwards reaching separate lows. It's sad that that's the only time their love is completely prominent.
