Can A Vampire Love?

The raven made his way to his office. He was wearing his fighting uniform and was planning to start war with the werewolves. Now that Nile was gone the demons have no leader, until they have a new leader Levi wouldn't have to worry about them. The vampire made his way into his office and saw Petra, Eld, Erwin and Hanji. They were missing someone and they all knew it. Levi clenched his fists and took a seat at his desk, he crossed his hands and looked up at his soldiers.

"We are going to save Eren."

The raven saw Hanji smile to herself as well as everyone else. They all hoped Levi would snap out of it, of course they knew why he was doubting himself especially after Pixis brought up the man's mother.

"Erwin I want you to gather my best soldiers. Petra I want you to get the best weapons you can find and make sure everyone has one. Eld I'll need you to gather the horses, make sure they're in good health. Hanji I need you to gather a list of the strongest werewolves Pixis has at his castle. When that's all ready, report back here."

"Yes sir!"

And with that everyone walked out the room and went to do the task they were assigned. Levi sighed and looked down at his hand, he missed the feeling of Eren's hair and the warmth of his lips on his.

"Don't worry Eren. I'm coming."

The brunette woke up to find himself laying on cold cement in a cell. His whole body ached from the beatings he's been receiving. Even though he healed quickly, he still felt the after pain. Eren sat up slowly and moved to the farthest corner of the cell bringing his knees up to his chest.

He felt himself start to cry and soon the cries turned to sobs. He missed Levi. He missed the castle. He missed the warmth of the blankets he used to sleep in. He missed Oluo.

He missed everything.

"Hey."

The boy lifted his head and noticed there was a cell next to him, there was a tiny window near the top. He just shrugged and put his face back in between his knees.

"Aye kid. Look in the window."

Feeling curious the brunette wiped his eyes and stood up, peaking through the window. When his eyes adjusted he noticed a horse?

"U-Um who are you?" Eren asked wanting to meet a fellow cell neighbor.

"Name's Jean. I was arrested for accidentally crossing the borders, I didn't mean to but those bastards just don't listen."

"Oh well my name's Eren."

"Eren huh? Well then nice to meet ya!"

The horse looking man stuck his hand between the bars and the brunette gladly shook it, he was relieved that he wasn't the only one here.

"So what kind of creature are you?"

"I'm a shifter. We're pretty rare so you probably haven't heard of us. We don't have a ruler so we don't have a kingdom. Most of us live in the farther part of the woods and some of us live around here. I can shift into a horse." Jean patted himself on the chest proudly with a smirk on his face. Eren tried his best to hold back a laugh but it came out anyways "Well that explains your face."

"Yep! Wait...what you trying to say?"

"Even without shifting, you still look like a horse."

"NO I DON'T! WHY DOES EVERYONE SAY THAT!"

"Because it's true."

The two of them went back and forth until they eventually stopped and just had a casual conversation about their life before they were captured. Jean traveled around most of his life with his lover, who could shift into a bird. He was only halfway towards the werewolf castle when they claimed he had crossed their borders. Which he had not. His lover got away but he was captured and taken prisoner right away.

"Wait. So if your Prince Levi's lover then that means you're that rare breed?"

"Yeah. That's me. Do you hate me now?"

"No, why on Earth would I hate you? You're pretty cool to hang with. I won't hate you because you're different."

The brunette was about to reply when he heard footsteps. Both him and Jean stood up and moved away from each other quickly. A tall werewolf stopped by Eren's cell and opened it, glaring at the young boy.

"Time to go back to the table."

Eren's hands began to shake and his breathing began to quicken. The werewolf rolled his eyes and walked inside to grab the boy, but stopped when a voice spoke,

"Stand down. I'll take it from here."

Eren looked up to see a girl, she had blond hair and blue eyes. She was looking directly at Eren.

"Come on Annie. Pixis told us we couldn't meet the boy yet."

A tall man with short black hair and a slender body walked up next to the girl.

"Shut up Bertholdt. You know you wanna meet the kid too." Another man walked up on the other side of the girl, he had blond hair and was muscular looking.

"But Reiner..."

"Who the hell are you guys!?" The brunette clenched his fists, he needed some answers. The blond haired girl walked up to Eren and kneed him in the stomach, causing him to fall to the floor and groan in pain "What the fuck was that for?" The brunette received a kick to the face and another kick to the waist.

"Annie! That's enough!"

The girl grabbed Eren by the hair and yanked his head so that he was facing her,

"So you're Eren huh? Well my name is Annie. The tall one over there is Bertoldt, and the brute looking one is Reiner. I think it's time you knew that you're not the only rare breed anymore. Because the three of us are just like you."

The boy's eyes widened There's others out there that are the same as him? What exactly is the bigger picture to all of this?

Just what the hell was Pixis planning?
