Vanessa POV
I woke up to my alarm going off at 6 in the morning. I sat up in my bed yawning and stretching the sleep away. amA light knock at my door startled me.
"Come in," I said embarrassed at how my voice sounded in the morning.
"Hey, honey. You will be walking to school today. Ok."
"Yup," I said pulling my uniform out of my closet. She left the room and left me to get ready. I went into the bathroom and turn on the shower. I hopped and let the shower run down my skin. After about 10 minutes I got out and got dressed. I blow dried my hair straight and put it on a side fishtail. I put light makeup on and a beanie and walked downstairs. I grabbed a box of Honey Nut Cheerios and sat on the couch watching my recordings of the Fresh Prince of Bel-Aire eating cereal out of the box. I checked my phone put my whit high top converse and yelled good bye to the house before I left.
Matt was waiting outside against the mailbox with his earphones in. I grabbed my penny board and met Matt at the top of my driveway. He smiled me and walk beside me. He was silent so I stayed silent. As we turned a corner a group of girls crowded Matt. I rolled my eyes and put my headphones in. I looked down for a second to change my song when I crashed into a boy that was long boarding ahead of me. I rolled over in pain to see him cracking.
"What the fuck was that!" I said holding my elbow.
"That was hilarious!" the boy said turning to face me. I stared till I noticed I was blushing. He smiled and I knew I was going to like this school.
