Vanessa POV•

I paced back and forth around my room trying to comprehend what was happening. One minute Nash was dead then he was alive? How could this be? How could he do this to me? I thought he trusted me?

"Why?" I finally managed to say.

"It was for the best..." he croaked.

"For who! You?" I argued.

"No!" he stammered.

"Then!" we were now yelling at each other.

"You!" he shouted kicking the ground. "Damnit Vanessa! You don't get it do you!" he sighed.

"Not really!" I said fighting back.

"I needed to get away from being Nash! it was hard enough knowing Hayes was more important to you! That's why I stayed Hayes, you would have been devastated if it as Hayes." he was weak from this. I stared at him in shock.

"How dare you pin this on me!" I screamed. "I care just as for you as I did for Hayes! You say you did this for me, well "Nash Grier"nit seems like you did this for you... Y-y-you coward!" I spat at him." The color drained from his face. I pointed towards the door not bearing to look at him. After I heard the door close I collapsed on the ground and kick and screamed. Cursing at myself.

After I finished my tantrum I decided I needed something to eat. I carefully stood up, but my head was still pounding from all the crying. I slowly walked to my door and opened and suddenly Nash's body fell on my feet. He was passed out, so I dragged him into my room found a pillow and blanket an tucked him in. once I was done I went downstairs to find food.

The only thing I could find was Lucky Charms cereal, one of Sky's favorite. I grabbed a bowl and some milk and poured myself some cereal and sat on the couch. I debated whether or jOt to turn on the tv and I ended up putting on Spongebob, because nothing else was on. Suddenly a hand tapped my shoulder and my cereal was all over the place. I could here Nash laughing as he wet to get the paper towels. He came back and handed me the towels.

"That wasn't funny!" I stated.

"Not even a little?" he questioned.

"Maybe a little..." I said smiling. He smiled back and sat down on the couch next to me.

"II'm sorry about earlier.." he said looking at the ground.

"I thought it kind of cute, that you sat outside my room..." I said blushing. He looked up and smiled at me. Nash leaned in only a few centimeter from my lips. His eyes darted from my eyes to my lips. I thought about Chris. Would he ever do this to me. No, I thought. Nash leaned for the kiss, but I dodged it. I went upstairs and locked my bedroom door.

Hello beautiful people,
I'm finally back with another chapter of Mahogany and Me. I can't remember the last time I added a chapter. Sorry for the hold up.

How did you like the chapter? I thought it was pretty good. About the last chapter, sorry I didn't add an authors note I was kin if rushing the chapter. I really like how I added the plot twist🌀. It made the book better I think. The main reason I added Nash back was because he was such an important person to me and to Vanessa, so I felt like Vanessa needed a figure like that in her life, so entered Nash.
