Chapter 47

Vanessa POV

As I was dragging Matt to school he kept trying to explain something to me. Every time he opened his mouth I told him to shut up. I was too worried about missing school. As we came around the corner the school nearing my penny board started to swerve and then:

BOOM!

I hit the ground and my penny board went flying into the street getting hit by a Semi-Truck that was passing by. I jumped up and kept running towards the school. Matt was now calling me, but I tried to ignore it. As I entered the school parking lot I sprinted to the front doors. I hit them with a crash and tried to pull it open but it was locked. I was late. There goes my perfect attendance. Matt finally caught up to me.

"Can you hear me out for one minute!" he yelled exhausted.

"Ya" I said feeling defeated.

"It's a Saturday... We have no school today!"

"Your messing with me right..."

"No I was waiting outside cause I wanted to talk to you about yesterday and Ru-"

"I don't wanna hear it..." I said turning around and heading back home.

"But Van-" he said as I cut him off for the second time.

"I DON'T WANT TO HEAR IT..." I said slower this time hoping he heard me. I kept walking and people started staring from their yards.

"I'm sorry. You make mistakes too!" More and more people started listening. I started to blush an  walk faster.

"I don't wanna talk about this right now!" I said through gritted teeth.

"You never do!" he yelled flailing his arms in in the air, "I give up, Vanessa. You won." he said taking the left onto his road. I kept walking eventually walking right past my house. My neighbor stared out her window at me. I flipped her off and continued down the street. I definitely needed to let off some steam. That's when I saw Jack and Jack skating together. I turned around when Johnson called my name:

"Vanessa! Hey!" he called hopping off his board running toward me.

"Hey..." I said trying to cover my face. He pecked me on the cheek and Gilinsky scoffed behind us.

"What's your problem!" I whip around practically yelling.

"Can you be that clueless" he managed to spurt out.

"What the hell are talking about!?" Johnson piped in.

"You know you you're to good for him!" he shouted.

"Why would you say that." I whimpered.

"Cause.... Cause I love you!" That hit like a slap in the face. "Well, at least I thought I did."

"I'm so fucking confused..." Johnson said.

"Me, too!" I said turning around.

"Why do you shut me out, Vanessa!" Gilinsky yelled.

"Cause, I'm scared of losing you, Jack, and Matt." I said continuing to walk home.

"You don't need to be scared..."

"You wouldn't know... Leave me alone Jack!"

"Vanessa..." he whispered...
