Vanessa POV

Ever since Hayes visited all the boys have been. Hayes still hasn't broken up with Madison even though he promised me he would. I got my first tattoo for being the "badass" of jail. I thought it was stupid, but apparently it traditional. It has been a year and some, but this is torture. I wanted to kill myself. Everyone here is disgusting, I couldn't believe I was put in here for something I didn't do.

Hayes POV

I waited for Madison outside the women's restrooms at the mall. I couldn't stop thinking about Vanessa and how much my life sucks without her. I would never tell Madi what I was thinking, but I really wanted to end this relationship quickly. I was stupid to start it and now I have to end it. Once Madi.was done we left to go get lunch. I saw Vanessa's mom sitting with a friend. I covered my favor trying to hide, but it was to late she saw me.

"Hayes! How's life?" I told Madi to find us a seat and I would be there in a sec.

"Umm. Hi Mrs. Gordy"

"Where's Vanessa I thought you two would be a couple by now."

"Ha, funny Vanessa... Well... Um... She's... In...Jail..." I managed to get out. Her jawed dropped to the ground and she started crying. I put my arm around her an tried to comfort her. I needed to get Vanessa out of there.

Vanessa POV

I was playing cards when and officer told me I had a message on the phone. I picked it up and all I heard because most was cutting out:

"Don't worry I'll get you out."
