Hayes POV
Hattie came running back to the house to tell me she found Vanessa on the sidewalk beat up. I yelled to the boys and ran out the door with Hattie on my heals.
"Where are you going" she yelled at me.
"To help Vanessa!" like 'DUH' were else would I be going.
"Why would you help that slut bag!" She slurred.
"Cause I love her more than I could love you, bitch!" Not regretting a word I said.
Vanessa POV
The last thing I heard before the world went black was 'Cause I love her more than I could love you, bitch'. I smiled and fell into a sleep.

Vanessa POV
I woke up in the hospital with a cast covering my right arm. It had a note written on it:
'Dear Vanessa,
I know I have done a lot of things to hurt you, but I am now begging for your forgiveness. I made a mistake, I should have listen to you when you were telling the truth, but I didn't and I ruined us... I'm sorry... I can understand that you might never love me again, but could you give our friendship a chance?
