Chapter 53

Vanessa POV

"Hello?' I say my voice shakey.

"Vanessa, it's Hayes... I have been looking all over for you..." he said. My heart stopped. How did he get my number? Where was he? Was he really that worried about me?

'Hayes, what do you want?" I say still trembling.

"I need to know where you are. If I don't find you we could both be in trouble..." he whisper as if some one was listening to our conversation.

"Well, I will never tell you where I am. You ruined my life!" I was almost yelling.

"Just know Vanessa, I will find you!' and with that he hung up. I had almost dropped my phone. My jaw was dropping to the ground. I was literally having a panic attack. If I didn't know any better I would be guessing that Hayes was threatnng me. That night I lay awake in bed waiting for his next strike.

Then next morning my eyes were blood shoot and I was starving form not eating dinner the night before. I threw on my school uniform and my usual beanie with cat ears and called goodbye to me mom. Matt was not waiting at my mailbox and to be quite frank, I didn't even want him too. I walked to school in silence. When I entered the front door I was bombarded by Crawford and a girl.

"Hey! How's life!" he said enthusiastically.

"Hi.." I said questionably.

"This is my sister Karisma!" he said still happy. She looked up form her phone and lifted her arm for a shake. I returned the offer and lead her to her first class. We ended up being in almost every class together, so we became good friends. The only one I could confided in right now. After school we met up with Crawford and Chris at the skate part. KArisma wasn't much of a skater, but she enjoyed watching her brothers fool around.

'So what do you do for sports?" she asked

"I play soccer and basketball... How about you?" I replied.

"I play soccer, too! It's sucks it's not soccer season though.." she said glumly.

"I play at the indoor stadium on Wednesday. I can see if I can get you on the team." I was an exceptional soccer play for my age. Late year I was all-state and the is you I'm striving to be all around.

Later that night after we dropped of Karisma and the boys at their house, Matt decided to join us for dinner. Mahogany had invited him ovver. She always thought she could make things beter, but honestly she made it worse. The only seat left at the table was next to me so that's where he had to sit. This was going to be a long night.

Sooo? How was the chapter. I know it is longer than my usual one, but I had so many ideas that I wanted to express. I don't know whether or not to have Vanessa get back together with Jack or should she date one of the Collins? It would be pretty interesting to seee what one you chose.
