Chap. 25

ALEXANDRITE POV
"Micheal stop!" I yell as I run around the house.

"Just one lil kiss, it won't hurt," he retorted as he chased me.

I ran outside in the yard but didn't see him follow. I immediately started to panic. I ran back inside and see him on the couch panting. This is one of the symptoms of his cancer, short breaths.

I shared some water and handed it to him. He gulped it down and dragged me down before hovering over me.

"Got yah!" he says.

"That's not fair. That's cheating."

"Fair enough. Let me make up for it then," he says as he kiss my lips.

"Micheal, we just had sex like 4 hours ago. Give me a break," I add as I push him off me.

"Oh man! Fine. But can we do something? I'm bored."

"We can go Christmas shopping. I mean, look at this place. It looks....plain. We need to buy a christman tree and lights and decorations and-Micheal look at me!" I order because he was staring at the clock.

"Babe, can you pass me that clock?" he asks.

I pulled it off the wall and handed it to him. I don't see why he wants it. It's pretty much on the correct time.

He broke glass and pulled out a tiny object.

"What's that?" I question.

"Shit! Shit! Shit! Alex, we need to leave, now!!!" he ordered as he got up and started packing.

"I don't understand. Why we leaving?" I ask confused as hell.

"We're being watched and that there is a camera. Someone's been watching us and there's probably many more in the house. Pack your stuff, we have to leave now!!!"

I did as ordered and started packing my stuff too.

"Oh my God!!!" he exclaimed.

"What is it?"

"Someone other than you knows my location. Shit!" He immediatelt grabbed his phone and dialed a number. It rang out so he redialed and the same thing happened. He did like 15 times and failed. He looked even more worried. It was almost as if he wanted to cry. He literally looked to the heavens and pleaded "Please keep them safe."

"I'm not the only person who knows your location," I say.

"Alex don't fuck with me! Who else did you bring here?"

"No one. I'm just saying your cousin knows about here too," I explain.

"Yeah but that nigga my right hand. Been fucking with him since forever. Diego'll never rat me out or anything."

"Has it ever occured to you that the people closest to you can turn against you?" I question.

He went into the back room and came back with a bag filled with important papers and stacks of money.

"That's true but he'll never do that. You ready?" he replies.

"Yeah I am but think about it and watch him closely."

Micheal grabbed Blue and we left.

The entire drive he was trying to call one specific person. We took a taxi because he was afraid that one of his cars would have a tracking device in/on it.

Who is this person?

"Who are you trying to call?" I blurt out.

"Someone very important to me."

"Ok. Where are we going?" I ask.

"You're going home. You're safer with Jamar at your compound," he says.

"Oh really? And where are you going?"

"Back to the trap. I need to get some shit done. As for you, do not leave the compound, stay with Jamar, do not contact anyone besides your family or Antionette, do not answer any unknown calls, call me first if anything happens and please for the love of God don't do any drastic shit especially to try and help me. Do I make myself clear?"

"Negro is you stupid??? You do remember you're sick right?? Not to mention your symptoms. You're not as strong as you were a month ago and you can't do certain thing anymore. You'll need to be extra careful and use less energy," I tell the idiot next to me.

"I know Alex. I know my lit and what I can and can't do. I'll be okay, I promise. We're here. I love you," he adds ass he kisses my forehead. The car stopped and I exited after saying "Don't do anything stupid and I love you more."

He smiled at me and say "I love you most."

MICHEAL POV
I entered the trap and saw Royalty.

Not now.

"Royalty, I'm not in the mood and I have some business to do so please whatever you have to say or do save it for later," I say walking straight pass her.

"It's about your girlfriend, Alex."

She immediately had my undivided attention.

"What about her?" I ask.

"Information has a price darling."

"Name your price," I say.

"My favorite fashion line just released-"

"How much is it?" I cut her off.

"350k," she answers as her face lights up.

Gold digger.

"Information first, then I'll right a check for you," I reason.

"Fine. Ever since you and her got back together I've been stalking her. For the past 3 days she's been in and out of James house. She goes in for hours and does what she does before leaving. I think she's cheating," she says.

"Cheating? Not my Alex but that's weird. Tell me this, do James be there with here?" I ask.

"Yup! Still think she's not cheating? Anyways, that's all I have to say to you. Can I have my money now?"

I wrote a 250k check and handed it to her.

"This is 100k short Micheal!!! We had a deal!!"

"Yeah I know but your info can be invalid. Get the rest of the money from your other sugar daddys and fuck buddies. Now leave before I make Blue attack you," I say.

She growled and stomped out.

I walked up to my room and dialed a number I haven't dialed in a while. It rang 5 times and someone answered.

"Hello goodmorning," a little girl answered.

"Is this Leeona?" I ask.

"Yes. How may I help you?"

"Give the phone to your mommy please."

"Halo? Who is this?"

"Anahí...uhm....t-this is M-Mateo," I stutter.

She didn't reply but she was still there cause I heard her heavy breathing. Out of nowhere she hung up the call.

That's my little sister alright.

After 10 minutes she called back.

She immediately started cussing me in Spanish and I just stood there and smile.

Damn I missed her.

She finally came to an end and allowed me to speak.

"I know it's been 16 years and all but I need a favor," I say.

"16 years and you call only to ask for a favor??? Man fuck you!" She ended the call and I recalled.

"Hear me out Anahí. I uhm....I need...."
