I gasped feeling something cold. I looked around confused.
"Sorry," I sighed. Guess I was up for another change of clothes.
"I really need to get a check up-"
"No!" I turned to Logan in confusion.
"Just, maybe you should let my mom diagnose you, she's a doctor too" I frowned but agreed. I changed into the shirt and skirt I'd left there on our first day together. Mrs. Milles who's name I found out to be Qiara started analysing a few things. While she did we made small talk.
"How old were you?" She asked. I frowned.
"What do you mean?" She smiled. Not a polite or friendly one. A saddened and sorrowful smile.
"When they first broke you" she whispered. Logan stood at his desk with a confused look. I chuckled.
"Three and a half, an a stair case incident" she nodded.
"So you forgive them?" I scoffed.
"Never, I just wish them a happy death" she giggled. It was strange. Even though I'd just met her, my heart felt like I'd known her for ever.
"Have you gotten over him?" I blinked a few times.
"I'm pretty sure," she hummed.
"He's found you," I was about to reply when the door burst open.
"Dear? What happened?" Mr. Milles asked bursting inside.
"She's turning into a pyro-monster," I raises brow at her.
"A what now?" Logan gave me a sad and guilty look.
"Mara, maybe you should break your ties with my son," I froze. Cut ties with Logan. I looked down. My chest ached. The simple thought of not seeing him again. I can't.
"I can't," the man frowned.
"You don't understand this is for your own good," I shook my head. I already had everything and everyone I loved taken away. I would be loosing my last sense of light.
"Sir what more could I be loosing by staying with Logan?" I asked. Qiara turned to me with an interested gaze.
"Why death of course!" I smiled.
"I'm sure you'd call me crazy, but death is a the least of my issues" I was sincere in any way.
"If I have to die to be with him then be it, cut me up to pieces and send me to hell I'll still be in love with him" I stated. Qiara nodded.
"Her mind can't be changed then, its better to leave it be" she said. Mr. Milles seemed reluctant. Qiara got up pulling him along. When the door closed Logan sat beside me. He sighed heavily before his arms took me in a tight embrace. I felt his body quiver then heat up.
"Logan?" His grip loosened and he pulled away. His face was stained in tears while his face was covered in a pink tint.
"Logan, what's wrong?" He sniffed.
"Anyone else in your place would've wanted to get away the fastest as possible whenever they found out what we were yet," he hiccupped.
"You're still here, you still love me Mara even though I'm the reason of why you're in pain," he sobbed. I smiled at him laying a kiss on his forehead.
"Don't worry about that, remember I told you, I'll stay with you forever" I whispered kissing him. I knew what I WS getting myself into might kill me or even worse damage me more but. Logan was there. I had him in exchange and that was more than enough.
