I had my legs crossed over one another and sighed, throwing my head back on the car seat.

"Why so uptight babe" Jack asked, glancing at me for a second before focusing back on the road.

"No reason" I lied and he chuckled.

"You're a terrible liar" He said and I rolled my eyes.

"I am not!" I defended myself and he laughed.

"You're horrible" He said and I smirked.

"I'm not" I said and he shook his head.

"Don't try to change the subject"

Damn it.

"What's got you worked up?" He asked while turning on to our street.

"Not right now Jack" I whispered and he ran a hand through his hair.

"Yes right now Ava." He said and I could hear tell he was getting angry, but I didn't want to talk about my pregnancy in a situation like this.

"Jack I said not right now" I said as he pulled into the driveway.

"And I don't give a shit" He said as we both got out of the car, I was quite calm but he slammed his door as he stomped behind me.

"Jack can't you just wait. I don't have to tell you right this second!"

"Well I want you to! What's holding you back Ava?" He asked as I opened the door.

"I'm scared!" I yelled and felt my eyes well up.

"Baby why are you scared?" He asked with a soft voice and walked towards me. I laid my forehead on his shoulder while letting out a soft whimper.

"I'm scared of your reaction Jack. I'm scared of how it'll work out. What if you leave me? Oh my god what if-"

"Baby I'm not going to leave you." Jack lifted my head off of his shoulder so he could look at me. He brought his hand up to my cheek and ran his thumb over it before sighing. "Ava what is it"

"I'm pregnant" I said quietly and his eyes widened.

"Pregnant?" He asked and I nodded. "Baby that's great!" He yelled and I looked up at him.

"Great?" I asked and he hugged me, lifting me up a bit and spinning me.

"Ava why were scared of telling me?"

"I don't know. I didn't know how you would react and I just-"

"Ava calm down" He wrapped his arms around me and held me close to his chest

"Ava it'll be okay." He said and I nodded. "Don't be scared" He said and I sighed.

"I love you"

"I love you more baby" He said and kissed my head before kneeling down and putting his hands on my stomach. "I love you too little one. I'll love you even more when you're out of your mommy's tummy and in my arms."
