The garden became our secret spot.
Our escape.
I liked to bring lunchbox for us at first. But recently she'd been talking nap every time we met up. She liked to lay her head on my lap, sleeping peacefully while holding my hand firmly. She looked so pretty even when she was asleep.

She pouted her lips in her sleep. She's so cute, I can't help to kiss on her pouted lips which woke her up. She was delighted by the kiss.

She yawned then stretched out her arms.

"Tzuyu, you seemed really tired lately. What happened?" I ask worriedly while running my fingers through her hair. "I haven't had a good night sleep for a whole month. I either couldn't fall asleep nor kept waking up from nightmares. I had been taking the pills for the first three weeks. I have stopped the medication since this week because I don't wanna get too reliant to it." I felt sorry because I bet I'm the reason of her insomnia, because coincidentally the wedding was three weeks ago.

"I'm sorry, Tzuyu. I'm so sorry for not being a good girlfriend." I think I put too much pressure on her. She's like a knight, always there when I needed her. She's the most wonderful person I ever met, maybe she's better off without me.

"Don't be sorry, my princess. I always sleep well when you're beside me. You're my remedy, my one and only." She comforted.

There's something I really want to inform her. But seeing her being like this, I didn't want to put her in any more stress than she was already in. However, she kinda deserved to know. I have started taking fertility-boosting medications. After two week, I'm going to have an egg retrieval. They're going to extract the eggs from my ovaries. If they succeed, I will soon to be a mother.

I really wish she could be there for me.

My minds were arguing. However, 'don't tell her' wins the battle. Maybe, I could tell her on the day before.

"Are you alright?" Tzuyu asked.
"Nothing." I smiled.

"Mina, there'll be a board meeting at the laboratory tomorrow. We'll be going together," Prince Yuta informed me as he was exiting the reading room.

I'm grateful he is being respectful about not touching me in private. It's our deal by the way.

My phone rang, which brought me out of immersion in the studies.

"Princess Mina, it's Genos."
The laboratory, wedding, and relationships have been occurring in my mind lately; I totally forgot about the following investigation of kidnapping.
"I've meant to tell you for a long time, but you had been preparing the wedding. I..."

He hesitated for a moment.

The later appearances of Prince Yuta coming out of that door confirmed my speculation. The technician inside the room was holding your phone, he then threw the phone on the ground after Prince Yuta was gone. After the technician was gone, I checked the broken phone in the bin then took out the tracker, leaving no trail. I also did a research about the inn. It's the property of Nakamoto."
