Once we are out of the alley, I took one last glance behind to make sure we are clear. We continued walking to leave as far as we can. We were walking on a bridge now.

I reached in my pocket, empty, my phone was gone. They took away my phone. I wanted to make sure my parent are alright.

I stopped walking and turned to look at Tzuyu. "Tzuyu, can I borrow your phone?"

She pulled out her phone from her pocket and passed to me. I dialed in. Soon the phone got through.

"Hello." I heard a familiar voice. A tear streamed down my face unconsciously.

"DAD!"

The other side of the phone silenced for a second then I was bombarded by a lot of question. "Mina, are you alright? Have you hurt? Where have you been?" I break gently into a smile.

"I'm fine. I'm safe now. Are you alright? I heard a gunshot."

"We are fine. There was nobody injured. I told Takeshi to investigate the event."

"Glad to hear that. But there is a problem here. Could you come to fetch me?"

"Where are you now?"

I looked at Tzuyu, mouthed 'where are we right now'.

"Ikeda." she answered.

"Who is it?" my father asked.

"She helped me. I will explain further once I meet you."

"Saitama, Ikeda." I heard the other side of the phone speaking to the other person.

"We will be arriving soon, Mina. Be safe."

"You too." I hung up the phone.

I turned and looked at Tzuyu whose face full of worries.

"My parent is coming now. "

She nodded knowingly.

I dazing off into the distance. A breeze ruffled my hair.

"Can you stay with me? I am scared." I asked weakly.

Tzuyu nodded and shifted closer to me.

"Do you want to rest in my place? It is just across the street."She asked gingerly.

"It would be great. I'm thirsty." I said smiling.

While walking down the stairs, our hands were rubbing against each other slightly. After going down the stairs, we reached a crossroad. A lot of passerby waiting for the traffic light to change green. There are a few of them kept stealing glances at me. It is really uncomfortable. Did they recognize me? Or were they part of the gang?

I shifted nervously. Why the light still hasn't changed? Then a hand gripped my hand. My nerve tensed up but soon realized it was Tzuyu. Her dazzling eyes look reassuring. She never let go of my hand while on the way to her place. I could sensed that she felt awkward to hold a stranger's hand, but the subtle act to comfort me was really heartwarming. I felt safe.

We reached the house after making a right turn across the street. She let go of my hand and pulled out keys from her bag.

"Sorry for interrupting."I said when entering the door.

We took our shoes off at Genkan - the entranceway just inside the front door, then I followed her to the living room. I sat on the couch then roamed through the furnishings and decoration of the room. Simple and clean.
