Chapter 18

We were now cuddling on the bed.

Fully clothed.

Nothing happened, to be honest.

When I was almost falling asleep on her, she spoke out.
"The water is running cold."
She carried me up unexpectedly, I tightened my arms around her from falling down. She let out a mischievous laugh.
"Ya!" I whined and slapped her back.

She was stepping out of the bathtub. I'm a bit worry, she might slip and we both fall down. Luckily, she stepped out carefully and stood straight like a pole. I jiggling my legs slightly indicating I want to get down. She lowered me down, loosened the grasp on my thighs to hold on my hip, my feet touched the ground.

Her hands left my hip. I let down my arms and was about to back away from her but a towel pulling me back to her. I looked up, she was looking down at me. Our faces were only inched away, her nose touched the tip of my nose. She shook her head from side to side rubbing our noses.

She backed away, scrunching her nose, smiling and wiggling her head slightly. That's so cute. I cupped her cheeks to stop her from moving, we smiled at each other. I tiptoed and kissed the tip of her nose. She gave me a quick kiss on the lips while I departing from her. She smiled satisfyingly and rubbed the towel against my back.

She was helping me to dry my body until I felt a softness tapped against my breast. "I can do it myself." I grabbed the towel from her, wrapped it around my body and leave the bathroom. I let out a sigh of relief after closed the door behind. I quickly put on clothes, maybe to abstain anything happens. I heard the door opened from behind after I dressed up. She raised her eyebrows as she saw me all dressed up, she curved the corners of her mouth while walking towards her bag. I sat on the bed, scrolling through my phone, avoiding to see her naked body.

She sat next to me after getting dressed. "I'm tired." She said in a sleepy voice then laid down. I turned to look at her, her eyes were closed. I stretched up my arm, carefully put my phone on the bedside table which is beside Tzuyu.

When withdrawing my hand, she pulled me down out of the sudden, then cuddling me. I shifted to a comfortable position then hugged her back.

To my luck, it was a quiet night. No beeping sound interrupt our sleep, which is quite rare. But I still couldn't sleep well, I usually had light sleep in the on-call room, because I was always precautious and used to wake up by the pager occasionally. Tzuyu was able to have a good night sleep and don't have to work tomorrow but I have to, I kind of envy her. I let out a yawn while typing my report. This was the fifth time I yawned the whole day. I checked the time. Thank God, it's about time to go home.
Ding!
Tzuyu texted me.
"How's work today?"
"Very tired."
"Want a massage?"
"That'll be nice."
"Then come over, I'm preparing dinner for us."
"You're such a wife material."
"Yes. A wife waiting for you to come home."
"Alright, I'm coming after work."
I put down my phone with a smile, continuing my work.

I was about to get on my car when I heard the window of the car parking next to my car went down. "Princess Mina, I was waiting for you."

I turned around and it was Prince Yuta.
"What are you doing here?" I furrowed my brow, nothing good when he was around.

"I want to have a deal." He flashed a sly smile.
"We can talk that tomorrow." I turned back, really don't wanna deal with him.
Tomorrow we'll be going on a tour of the laboratory and witness a clinical trial. Father already went there and interviewed all the personnel and technicians for the project, the lab was fully functioning since Monday.

"It's not about the business. It's about your relationship." I frowned and turned around with concern. "What do you mean?" I raised an eyebrow, feeling confounded and unsettling.
"I don't think we should talk about this in public, you should get on the car so we could talk privately."
