Chapter 14

"Tzuyu, my parent will be coming to your house having dinner. Do you know how to cook Taiwanese meal?" I called her on my way to the common area.

"Yes, a bit. I'll try my best." She must have just wake up, her sleepy voice is so sexy. I heard bedsheets rustling sound on the other side.
"Would you like to go grocery shopping with me after work? You know, get to know each other better." She asked me out.

"Definitely." Is it a date? Momo is gonna mad about ALL these.

"I will meet you after work." She said lightheartedly.

Today is a working day without Tzuyu.
Today is a bit occupied without Tzuyu.
"Dr. Mina, want to have lunch together?" Sakura invited. I was writing a brief admit note at my desk.
"No. I'm good. Got to finish it real quick." I beckoned them to have lunch without me. They left the common room.

"Ok, done." I checked the time. Oops, time flies by quicker than I thought. I checked the list, still have many patients need to check on, and one of them included Sana. I am going to check on her now.

Sana beamed up when I entered the room. "How do you feeling?" I asked about the injured area. "Minari, I feel bored and lonely. I couldn't sleep last night. Hospital is creepy." I sat by the bedside. Sana hold my hand right away, she probably wouldn't let me go in a while. "You watch too much horror film. Where's Momo? She told me she came this morning." She pouted. "Momo went back just now. A teacher applied for an emergency leave so she needs to go back to fill in for him."

I nodded, put the earpieces of the stethoscope in my ears, and positioned the diaphragm on her left chest. "Take a breath and relax," I commanded, listening to her heartbeat. "Sit straight up and breathe normally." I rubbed the stethoscope to warm up the cold surface and positioned the stethoscope on the bare skin of her back. I walked to the end of the bed and wrote down the result on the daily progress note. "Do you have any discomfort like nausea, abdominal pain, or dizziness when standing up?" She shook her head.

"Are you gonna leave now?" Sana asked with her signature Shiba Inu eyes. "Sana, I'm working. Don't make it hard for me. I would like to stay here with you if I have time." I patted her head. "Where's Tzuyu?" The irritated look on Sana's face. "She's on leave." Her face turned sulky.

"I want a kiss on the lip." She commanded. "Sana..." I stared at her staring eyes. "Momo kissed me before. Why can't you?" "Well...you guys accidentally kissed. It's not like voluntary." I pointed out. "As a doctor, you have duty to care about my wellbeing. I'm feeling emotionally unwell now and a kiss will make me feel better." She was being unreasonable now, I gave up on arguing with her. I leaned forward and gave her a kiss.

She smiled in victory. "Woohoo! Minari finally kissed me. The injury is worth it. An achievement in my life." Sometimes I wondered whether she has 'Kiss all girls I met' on her bucket list.

"You can discharge tomorrow. I will tell the nurse to inform your family. Please rest well at home. Avoid further strenuous activities. Take your meds on time. Come back every week for checking whether there is displacement. The cast will be able to remove after a month depends on your recovery." I informed her.

"Awesome! I can get out of here tomorrow. I don't like the smell of the hospital." She snorted. She has so many perfumes in her house. She likes to sleep with the fragrance. Same with me, I like to sleep with the smell of Jasmine.

"Alright, I gonna go now." I faced her while walking horizontally towards the door.
"가자마(kajima) Don't go!" She raised her right hand dramatically with a long face.
My left side met the surface of the door. My left hand made my way to the doorknob. 
"Kaji~ma~" She said again as she heard the twisting sound.
I opened the door, still facing her. "Bye." I waved with a straight face. Sana still remains her dramatic facial expression. I broke gently to a smile. She laughed at my reaction then waved me goodbye. I went to another room to check out the condition of the remaining patient.
