Chapter 13

Today is the busiest day because of the car accident. It was our time to get off work but short-staffed so we're staying to help until everything is stable. Gintoki brought me a navy blue dress under Mother's command.

I grabbed the on-call room key, took a shower, get changed, and applied makeup. I walked out the door, Gintoki was waiting. I asked Gintoki to return the key because I didn't want anyone to see me in this attire. Gintoki returned back in a minute, he guarded me out from the back entrance.

"Sorry, I'm late. Good evening, Father, Mother, Prince Yuta." I bowed. There was only one seat left. The maid pulled out the chair beside Prince Yuta. I don't want to sit next to him but I couldn't express obviously. "Nice to meet you again, Princess Mina." I greeted him with a polite smile and seated in.

"Prince Akira, how's the progress of the experiment?" Prince Yuta asked courteously.
"Very well. The infected human stem cells reacted to the drugs and become inactivated. We will proceed to the second part of the preclinical trial next week." said obviously delighted Father.

"Great, I already build a brand new laboratory for you." What a bombshell. " You are welcome to move in there anytime if you accept the proposal." He said with a grin.

"We really appreciate," Father said genuinely. "But the additional condition you requested is not under my decision." Father appeared to be in reluctant. What condition? Why I hadn't heard him proposed to me at the dinner?

"Yes. My bad." I saw a brief of sly smile before he returned to his serious facial expression. He faced me. He took something out of his pocket. He turned his hand and revealed a ring box. "Princess Mina, would you like to marry me?" He opened the box revealing a diamond ring.

WHAT THE FFFFFFUUUU!?
"NO!" I shouted louder than I expected. Watch your manners. "Sorry, I cannot. We don't even know each other." My face scrunched up involuntarily.

"We will know each other after marriage. And don't you think marriage is the best alliance? People love a royal wedding."
Was he out of his mind!? NO!

"No, I cannot." No. No. No. And NO.
"Why?"
You asking why?!! I had a million reasons to not marry you. Egotism, Narcissism, Self-centered, Arrogant, Insensitive, Condescending, Possessive, and etc. Besides that, I have a girlfriend!

"I have a boyfriend."
What? What did I just say?!? Ahh!!! What got into you, Minari!!? Are you out of your mind!!? Now I have to lie?! I wanna cry TT

"What?!" Father and Mother gasped at the same time. "Mina, you have a boyfriend?" asked Mother, to prove she hadn't heard it wrong. Well, I have been single since I was born and I always said I don't have time for love, it was true though, I didn't even have time to sleep. Anyways, they must be really surprised now.

"Yes, Mother." I lied. I don't like lying but now I was doing it.

"Who?" I don't even know whom. Who would be my perfect boyfriend? The one totally unknown to my family but trustable.
Nayeon or Tzuyu?

"We just started. I was planning to tell you until the timing is right. But now I need to discuss with him." I excused myself under their curious gaze and went to my room.

"Moshi~Moshi, Im Nayeon at your service, what's up? Princess Mina." She said joyfully.

"Nayeon언니, I need your help. I know this sound ridiculous but could you be my boyfriend?" I said in one breath.

"What did you just say?!"She said in Korean. Luckily I still remembered the meaning because Momo always said that in high school when Sana pissed her off.
