Abby's p.o.v
Another first day of school. I actually enjoy going there. I can talk to my friends everyday. I can wear all my new outfits.
I walked into the building with a smile. I was happy to be back.
"Abby it's been so long!" one of my bestest school friends, Vicky, nearly screamed. She immediately wrapped her arms around me.
We walked to our lockers together. On the way some people complimented me on my dress. I always thanked them.
"Hey Britney!" I waved as I saw another one of my friends.
They all looked so great on the first day. I love my friends. They are all so pretty and nice. They are like sisters to me.
We started walking to our first class together. I turned to look at Vicky as I told her about my trip to England this summer. I wasn't paying attention and I crashed into someone.
"I-I'm so sorry," a boy with messy hair apologized, picking up my books from the floor.
He fumbled the books around and they fell from his hands. He was awkward and nervous. I've never even seen him before.
"I'm really sorry. Silly me wasn't paying attention. It's my fault," I apologized to him. I felt terrible. He picked up my mess for me.
"Uh have a go-nice day," he stuttered and walked away.
"You were awful nice to that idiot. He totally knocked your books out of your hands for attention," Britney said, sounding like a bitch.
"He was really sweet about it. Maybe if I was looking where I was walking, you wouldn't be complaining about it," I said to her.
"Do you like him or something?" Vicky asked.
"No!" I quickly replied, clearly upset.
He was nice, a little attractive. At least he wasn't a douche like most of the boys in my school who try to hit on me. But I couldn't like him. My friends would only use that to nag me.
Maybe I thought differently about them. Maybe they aren't as good of friends as I remembered.
End of Chapter 2
In this fanfic I picture Zoella (youtuber) as Abby. She seems like the perfect fit!
