Ashton's p.o.v
"Wish me luck," I told Abby before I left her house.
She gave me a kiss before responding, "good luck."
Today was the day of our latest 5sos band practice. I was going to show the boys the lyrics I wrote with Abby. I'm praying they like it.
I rode my bike to Michael's house and had a nervous smile planted across my face as I stepped inside.
"What's up with you? Last time we saw you, you were having a mental break down," Luke said, noticing my expression.
"Well, um, I wrote a new song," I told him.
"There's something more than that," Calum told me, not buying it.
"Okay, fine. Abby and I are a 'thing' if that's what you'd like to call it. We're working out the whole tour situation," I explained and grins immediately took over the room.
"Mate! You did it!" Michael said before they all walked over to me to pat my back or give me a bro hug.
"Yeah, I did. I just can't imagine leaving her in two months," I confessed.
"I'm sorry about that Ashton. You know how much this tour means to you and to us. We can't pass the opportunity that only comes once in a lifetime," Luke encouraged me.
"You're right there. What's more important, your biggest opportunity or a girl, no matter how incredible she is?" Michael added.
"That girl is special, I'll admit, but this band comes first. My goals and my passion will stand before any girl, even Abby," I gave in.
"That's my bro! Now let's hear this new song," Calum requested and I handed him the crinkled paper.
I watched as his eyes scanned each line and the others read over his shoulder.
"This is about her, isn't it?" was the first comment about it.
"Yes," I answered, a bit nervous.
"Just remember. Even though you won't see Abby for a few months, that doesn't mean the whole audience won't hear about her. Our fans will know your feelings for Abby and there couldn't be a better way to let her know how much you love her," Luke said, starting to get soft.
"So you know who I'm writing about?" I asked.
"We knew even before you told us. Definitely going to be our next song."
