Ashton's p.o.v
I was worried about Abby. I knew she was going to school today, but she never told me to go with her. I needed to be there for her when she walked down that hallway. What could happen to her?
I nearly ran to school, knowing she was there, most likely in a devastating state. When I got there, everything was normal. It didn't feel any different, but I needed to find her.
I quickly walked to her locker, only to find that she was not there. Then I nearly ran to her first class and that's when I saw Vicky talking to Abby.
I was relieved, yet concerned to why Vicky was with her. I didn't think much about it, since my intentions control my actions and I walked up to her.
"Are you okay?" Was the first thing to blurt out from my mouth.
"Yeah, why?" Abby replied, calmly.
Why was I so surprised at her response?
"I-I thought you wouldn't make it. What have they said?" I asked in a panic.
"Nothing. Thank you for coming for me Ashton. It was sweet of you," Abby said and stood from her desk to give me a short kiss.
Vicky stared at us as though we grew two sets of eyes. I assumed she didn't know about our relationship status.
"Wha-what is this?" She nearly squeaked.
"Oh, I forgot to mention," Abby stuttered and her cheeks turned pink.
"Awe, my Abby has found a lover! I'm so happy for you!" Vicky exclaimed and wrapped her arms around Abby.
It was good that they were the only ones in the home room. It was fairly early in the morning.
"Can I ask you something?" I requested from Abby.
"Sure," she replied openly.
"Can I take you somewhere after school?" I asked.
Abby immediately smiled and nodded her head rapidly in excitement.
"Great, I'll see you two at lunch," I waved goodbye before leaving the class.
As long as Abby was happy and safe, she didn't need me. I could trust Vicky to watch her while I wasn't present.
