I groan as I wake up. The sunlight immediately hits my eyes. I forgot to shut my blinds last night. As I try to get up to shut them, I realize there's a weight on my waist.
Crap.
Chase.
I need to try and wake him up. Ethan can't know he's still here.
I roll underneath his arm, so that I'm facing him. I feel my front press closely against his chest, as his arm tugs me closer. I feel my cheeks turn pink.
"Chase," I whisper shout, lightly shoving his chest. He doesn't budge, instead he brings me even closer to him.
"Chase," I try again, lightly poking his chest. Well damn, he's got some muscle.
"What?" He whispers as he snuggles deeper into my bed.
"It's morning, and you're in my room," I whisper. His eyes shoot open and he instantly lets go of me. I immediately feel cold, so I wrap a blanket around myself.
"Crap, is Ethan up?" He asks, as he looks at me frantically, "My car is still in your driveway."
"Uhm, I don't know if he is, you kinda trapped me," I awkwardly say. Chase laughs.
"Sorry about that," he smiles.
"I'll go out and check his room," I say, before scurrying out of my room, with my blanket still wrapped around me. Why is it so cold today? I tiptoe to Ethan's room and see the door closed, meaning he's still in there. I make my way back to my room.
"You're clear," I report back to him.
"Alright, I'm gonna head out then," Chase smiles as he heads to my door.
"Okay. See you at school Monday," I say as I follow him out.
"Actually, I'm supposed to be back here at like 7 for Ethan."
"I still may not see you. My friends will be over too,"
"Oh, you'll see me," he grins at me.
"Okay," I laugh as we head down the stairs, "Bye Chase," I say once we reach the front door.
"Bye gumdrop, by the way your bed is really comfy," Chase adds with a smirk, and heads to his car. I just smile to myself and shut the door.
I run back up to my room and get ready for the day.

"Hey!" I exclaim as I welcome my friends into the house. They all carpooled together in Grace's car.
"Jayden!" Grace yelled as she threw me into a big hug.
"This is such a nice home!" Chloe says as she takes in her surroundings.
"Thanks," I smile, although I don't feel like this is my home, "So, pizza should be here in like 20 minutes,"
"Awesome," Noah says.
"You guys just wanna head up to my room?" I ask, I hate hosting things, I never know what to do.
"Sure," Grace says, as they all follow me down the halls.
"Welcome to my room," I say as I open my door. I tidied it up a bit, so it looks pretty clean.
"Dude, what?" Liam says with wide eyes.
"This is the size of some apartments," Chloe says equally as impressed.
"I know, it's like 3 times the size of my last room." I say as I sit on the bed.
"How you liking it here in Pennsylvania?" Noah asks.
"It's very different. It's so cold today! And October is just starting," I exclaim, it's been freezing in the house, I feel the need to have gloves on.
