"so how have you been lately"he asked me I shrugged

"Some days are hard and most days are good but I'm always happy when I come home to her"I honestly he nodded

"Where do you work"he asked me

"I work at a modeling studio I help get models and all that other stuff good designs it I make then new clothing"I explained to him

"That's good how's your mom"he asked me

"She's fine"I said for some reason when I look at jahseh he makes me mad but I'm also happy to see him

"X are you okay"I asked him he looked distracted

"Yeah I'm fine I'm good are you hungry I am"he said talking fast yeah there's something wrong

"Mommy I'm tired"she said rubbing her eyes I looked at x then back at promise I wanted to say something to him so bad but I couldn't because of promise

"I'll catch a Uber home"I said picking up promise and calling my Uber walking out I heard x sigh and walk up behind me outside

"Girl if you don't get your ass to this car"he said I ignored him

"Look Makayla I'm not finna play games with you"he said I pissed me off

"Look I'm sorry just please get in the car we can talk about it later"he said I sighed and walked to the car with him and cancelled my Uber I put promise in her car seat it was dark outside due to daylight savings time was over I got in the passenger seat and seen Geneva and two girls walking behind her in my review mirror

"Danny get in the car okay and I'll be in in a second"she said to the little boy he did as told the girls looked at her and smirked and grinned

"Bitch you though you was gonna get away"the tall one said Geneva looked scared

"Look you can have all my money take whatever you want just please don't take me.back"Geneva said crying the car started up and I looked at my purse then back at Geneva the girls started kicking and punching her in the stomach I looked at jahseh them promise then geneva then my purse

"Fuck"I mumbled I grabbed my gun out my purse and ran over towards Geneva x got out the car I pointed the gun towards girls

"Kayla stop"x said I gnored him

""Hey get away from her now!"I told them they looked scared they moved away from Geneva

"Look we don't want no smoke let's go Ciara"the talk girl said then they walked off I looked at x he looked pissed but why?he walked back to the car

We walked in the house jasheh went to go lay promise down in her room I went to my room and put my purse down and took my shoes off and pluged my phone up and put on some shorts and tank top and my gun up then sat down and and started thinking

X burst in my door making me jump he looked pissed

"What's wrong"I asked him he just looked at me

"Don't play fucking dumb why did you help her?"he asked I scoffed

"Is that why your so mad"I asked him and didn't say a word

"But she was pregnant Jah"I said annoyed what's the big deal anyways

"Why does it matter JAHSEH"i yelled his name out his eyes turned  black kinda scaring me He walked towards me
