The night before my first day of school I went out on a hunt. With my wolf eyes and K9s at the ready I was wandering around until I caught a strange scent. It didn't smell like an animal, but it didn't smell human either. I followed the scent with my wolf speed, hiding in some bushes by this big house. I was confused when I saw nothing unusual around, just a human hitting hockey pucks to a garage door. But the smell was still present, so I stayed hidden. At that moment I was grateful for my night vision.
After about a minute, a little girl came out in her pjs and a pink robe. She was clutching her doll nervously.
"What are you doing?" She asked the boy.
He sent her an annoyed look, "What does it look like I'm doing?" Well, I guess he didn't live there.
"Trespassing," the girl responded, I held back a chuckle I liked her.
"Why don't you make like an egg and beat it," he told her shooting another puck.
"I'm gonna tell my big brother!" She threatened.
"Really? Oh I'm so scared!" He mocked, "I've seen your brother. He may be older but he's not big," he grabbed her doll and put it on the floor, "Fetch!" He hit it with his hockey stick toward the garage.
"Abby!" She yelled running after her doll. Suddenly there was a shadow over the guy, and he was whisked into the air.
Instinctively I jumped out of my hiding spot and looked up, trying to see where he went. Then the guy's shoe fell and the little girl screamed. She was staring at the shoe and hadn't even noticed I was there, so I sped away following the scent that had moved. The trail led me to some deserted park. I finally saw what the scent was and gasped. Vampire. He drained the boy dry. He looked up, saw me and smirked.
"Looks like I get dessert too," He licked his lips.
"Don't be so sure of that," I snarled, and he took a step back. Now I had the leverage and I didn't hesitate. As I ran toward him I phased and attacked him, it was easy to see he was recently changed because he had no clue how to fight.
I tore him apart without even breaking a sweat. Then I buried the human boy's body. I phased back, lit the vampire's body on fire, and walked away. As I walked down the empty street I picked up a squirrel and drained it dry. Pretty simple for my first encounter with a vampire. Before I went home I checked that house to see if that little girl was okay. When I got there I could hear people inside, two older people, probably her mother and father; they were yelling at someone else, probably her older brother. I heard the girl up in her room and knowing he was safe I went home to get ready for my first day at a new school.

A/N: Hi my loves! So just so you know as I'm transitioning the story from Quotev to here there will be some small edits made, just cleaning it up a bit😁
The reason I'm putting it on here is because while there are some MBAV stories here not many are finished and I think you might find this one different than the others.
Hope you enjoy! I'd really appreciate it if you commented what you think of it!
Also keep an eye out for new stories cause I have some new projects in the works😉
Much love!
