Lily was thrown back into the main room just before anyone woke up. She was disgusted with everything The Man made her do and everything he did. There wasn't one sexual act out there, that Lily knew of, that she wasn't forced to partake in. There were some that she didn't know that he had forced upon her. The worst part was that there were rounds after rounds of it; all night long! Just thinking about it made Lily sick to her stomach.
She wished that somehow someone would find all of them and take them away from there, but she knew how unlikely that was. So for now, she just really wanted to take a shower and get all of them out of there safely... no necessarily in that order. That was the sucky thing about being taken and no one caring about you though. You couldn't have what you wanted.
Adrienne, Lily, and the girls weren't allowed to shower. It was disgusting. Lily felt nasty all the time. She didn't know how The Man could stand to do what he did to them with them being all dirty and smelly all the time. Lily tried to use the hand soap and water from the sink in the bathroom to wash up. Unfortunately, this lack of proper hygiene not only meant that she was gross all the time, but also that her hair was a filthy mess of knots. It also meant that she had to finger brush her teeth which was disgusting in and of itself. However, there were plenty of clothes for them to wear. Some of them were still dirty, others were clean just stained with dirt. Lily figured they were from other girls that had been there, which made her feel weird, but at least she hadn't been stuck in the same clothes the whole time though.
Trying to escape had been impossible. All that was around was the forest and its animals. Lily sure as hell didn't know her way around it, but she knew The Man did. There was no chance that any of them were surviving if they tried to get out of there. He surely would have found them and killed all of them. That wasn't a risk Lily was willing to take. It wasn't the girls; fault that their father was a psychopath. They deserved a chance at a better life. It wouldn't have been fair to lead the to believe that Lily could get them out of there safely and give them hope of a life they all deserved, only for all of them to die. She couldn't do that to them.
Lily washed up as best she could and changed her clothes. When Adrienne woke up, she made a beeline to the bathroom. The only time Lily had ever run to the bathroom that quickly was when she really had to pee or when she was about to puke. Those were the only two possible outcomes of that scenario. Lily assumed she was sick, and when she went to check on her, found out that she had been right. That could only mean one thing.
Adrienne left the door to the bathroom wide open, she was kneeling on the floor with her head shoved in the toilet bowl. She could feel Lily's presence walking up behind her. Lily held onto her hair behind her head and rubbed her back. When she was finished, Adrienne wiped her mouth with the back of her hand. Tears were streaming down her face and they weren't from her being sick.
Adrienne had already known that she was pregnant, but she didn't want to believe it. Now that the symptoms were there right in front of her face, it tore her apart. Pregnancy outside of mateship was extremely looked down upon in the werewolf world. Adrienne had thought that they would have saved her by now and she would have avoided this, but knew deep down that with Lily being human, and Jackson's mate, that her family wouldn't have been allowed to.
She couldn't help but think that David would hate her when he found out; she couldn't blame him either. They had their life all mapped out already. This would ruin all of that. David would reject her; her pack would force her to go rogue; she would have to raise a child that she hadn't wanted in the first place all by herself. And she had no one to blame but herself. She hadn't been strong enough to protect herself and fight back, poison in her system or not. It was no excuse. Adrienne hated herself; for all of it.
