Chapter 33

Abigail's POV

9 months pregnant

Prom was fun, I'm really glad I went. I was laying in bed with Sam and I felt the baby kick. "Babe" I say waking Sam up. "What? Are you okay?" "Yeah the baby just kicked" I say and he puts his hand on my stomach. "Look right here" I say and move his hand to where I felt her kick. He kissed my cheek as we cuddled in bed. "Ow" I say holding my stomach. "What happened?" "It hurts, Sam I think I'm having contractions! Take me to the hospital" I say and he carries me to his car. He put his hand on my thigh and rubbed circles. I called my mom Birthgiver💘, "Mom I'm having contractions! I think I'm going into labor" "Ok sweetie breath, it's gonna be okay sweetie I'm on my way" she says and my water breaks. "Mom! My water just broke!" We got to the hospital and Sam carried me in. "She's going into labor!" he says and they bring out a rolling bed. They put me on it and took me to one of the rooms. They connected me to a bunch of things and they couldn't give me an epidural until later so the pain is really bad. "Owww." I said and squeezed Sam's hand. "It's ok baby." he said and squeezed back.

*the next day*

I was in labor for 27 hours. Right now im holding Alyssa Marie Hernandez. I had her take my last name because I obviously wasn't gonna give her Danny's. "She looks just like you." Sam said. I smiled and looked at her she was my little twin except her nose. "Here I'll hold her." My mom said and grabbed her. I laid back and looked at Sam, "Our friends are coming soon." He said and I nodded. "Lay with me." I said and he came next to me. "That was a long 27 hours." I said and rubbed my stomach. "Some of the faces you were making were so funny, but I didn't laugh because I didn't want you to get mad." He said and kissed my cheek. "Was I being bitchy?" "A little bit." "Sorry." "Don't apologize." I laid my head in his chest and closed my eyes. "Hey!!" Everyone said walking in. "Hey." "Where is she?" Jack asked. I pointed towards my mom, "Wash your hands and then you can carry her." I said and he nodded. He went and he washed his hands then walked over to my mom to get Alyssa. "Hey sorry we weren't here when you had her." Natasha said walking up to me and hugging me. "It's ok, I heard I was being bitchy." I said and we laughed. "She looks just like you. She's adorable" Gabi said "Thank you." I said and smiled. I looked over at Jack and he was playing with Alyssa. "Come over here Jack." I said and walked over with her. "She's precious." He said and kissed her forehead. She moved around a little then she did a little smile. "Aw she smiled." He said and smiled. "I wanna hold her!" Johnson said and walked over. "Did you wash your hands?" "Yeah." He said and took her from Jack. He was done then Natasha took her then Mike took her then Gabi took her. She handed her back to me, "Hi baby" I say and kiss her. Everyone left the room to go downstairs and eat but I asked Jack and Natasha to stay. "Will you two be Alyssa's godparents?" "Yes of course" Jack says smiling
from ear to ear. "Yes!" Natasha says in a 'duh' tone. They went downstairs to the cafeteria and I FaceTimed Luke. We talk like every other night. "Hey cutie what's up?" he asks. "Meet Alyssa" I say and put the camera facing down to show her. "Aww she's so cute!" he says and she starts crying. "What did I do?" "Nothing shes just hungry" I say laughing. "Ok I'll call you later" I say and blow a kiss. "Love you" he says and blows me a kiss. "Love you too" I say and hang up. I fed her then burped her. "Better?" I ask and kiss her. Everyone came back in and my mom took her. They sat around me and we talked. "Ok I'm leaving, I'll be back tomorrow. Love you" Jack says and kisses my cheek. "Love you too" I say and everyone else gets up to leave. They said bye and kissed Alyssa. "Can I hold her?" Sam asks and I nod. I gave her to him and Annie and Emily walked in. "Hey I'm glad you guys made it" I say and they walk over to my bed and hug me. "How was it?" Annie asks. "27 hours" I say and she laughs. "Where is she?" Emily asked. "With Sam" she washed her hands and took Alyssa from Sam, "Hi Alyssa" she says and kisses her. Emily was the first person after Sam to know it was a girl and she helped me pick the name. We're actually really close now. "You guys are identical" Emily says "She's beautiful, just like her mommy" Sam says sitting next to me on the bed and kissing my cheek. "Have you guys taken a picture together yet?" Annie asks and I shake my head. Emily handed Sam Alyssa and we took a picture. "Thank you" Annie carried Alyssa and played with her while Sam and I talked with Emily. "Ok I'll see you later" Emily says hugging me. "Thanks for coming" I say and hug Annie as she gave me Alyssa. The nurse came in and took Alyssa to run a couple tests. She told me Alyssa was going to sleep in an incubator today and I could take her home tomorrow.

I woke up and the nurse came and checked up on me. I showered and ate. They showered Alyssa and brought her to me in her pink striped onesie. "Hi baby" I say and kiss her. "Hi mommy" I look up and see Sam walking in. "That's cute" I say sarcastically. He walked over and kisses my cheek. "Hi" he says and lightly tickles her stomach. She smiled, "Aw" I say and kiss his cheek. My mom came a little later with Mama Wilk and Emily. "Where's my cutie?" Mama Wilk asks. "Hi Alyssa" she says and kisses her forehead. "She looks just like you. She's beautiful" She says and I smile "Thank you" I say and smile.
