Chapter 42

Abigail's POV
*1 week later*

I got released today. It was cute the boys, Gabi and Natasha brought me balloons and teddy bears. I feel bad though. I'm always in the hospital or sick or something. I'm with Sam and Alyssa at the park right now. We set a blanket down under a tree and laid down. I was laying down on my stomach and so was Sam. Alyssa was in the middle crawling back and forth and laughing. "She's so cute. She's just like you" Sam says and kisses my cheek. I smiled and laid down. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. "You okay babe?" Sam asks and I nod. "Are you sure baby?" he says and lays on top of me. "Yeah babe" I say and he kisses my cheek. "I love you," he says. "Ok" I say. "I'm slightly offended" "Are you?" "Yeah" he says and I open my eyes. "And whys that?" he started tickling my sides. "Sam! Sam stop!!" I say laughing uncontrollably. "Sam!!!" I say slapping him away. "Sam stop? Oh how I'd love to hear you say that more often" he says and winks. "1 kids enough for now" I say laughing. "I love you" he says and kisses my cheek. "I love you too" I say and he smashes his lips into mine. "Abi" Alyssa say and starts clapping her hands. I pulled away from Sam and smiled from ear to ear sitting up. "Sam did you hear her?!!! She said Abi!!!" I say happy and started slapping his arm. "Yes I heard her babe" Sam says laughing. I picked her up and sat her on my lap. I kissed her cheek, "Abi" I say and she repeats, "A-bi" she says and I smile and she laughs. We stayed a while longer and then we went to Sam's house. I walked in carrying Alyssa, "Where's my baby girl" Lori says opening her arms. I smiled and she carried Alyssa. "She said Abi today" "Oh my gosh really?" she says and I nod happily. "That's great" "Let me see if she'll say it again" I say and pause for a second. "Abi" I say. "Abi" she says and I clap. "Yay" Lori says and I kiss her cheek. "What a cutie" she says. I went upstairs with Alyssa and Sam held her on his lap. I sat on Sam's desk chair and spun. "I've missed this" I said laughing. There was a folded paper on his desk. "Hey babe what is this?" I ask holding it up. "Oh, it's uh nothing" he says and I open it. "You got accepted into FSU?" "Yeah..." he says. "And you weren't going to tell me anything?" "It's not that big of a deal" "Babe it's huge! Congratulations" I say sitting next to him and kissing him. "Well I didn't know we would celebrate" he says and winks. I rolled my eyes and pushed him. "It's still a big deal though. When'd you get it?" "When you were in the hospital. I wasn't gonna say anything though" "Babe!!!!" I say and hug him. "I'm really happy for you" I say and lean on him. I thought about college for a while. I would be attending online college since I have to watch Alyssa. I'm really happy Sam got accepted to FSU. FSU? That's in Florida. "What's wrong?" Sam asks snapping me out of my thoughts. "Huh nothing" "What's on your mind baby girl" "Nothing it's fine don't worry about it" I say and smile a little. He played with Alyssa and I laid back in his bed thinking. Sam is going to be in college, at parties. There are gonna be so many girls, girls that are prettier than me. "I'm tired, I'm gonna go home." I said and took Alyssa. "Ok babe I love you." He said and gave me a kiss. "Love you too." I said and walked out of his room. "I'm home!" I said walking into my house. "Hey sweetie." My mom said walking out of the kitchen. "Mom look what Alyssa learned today!" I said and walked over to her. "What?" "Abi." I said and Alyssa repeated, "Abi." She said and I smiled. "Aww oh my god." My mom said and kissed her cheek, "But I want her to call me mommy." I said and she laughed, "Be patient. Everyone says Abi so much that it stuck for her." She said and I nodded. "Sam got accepted to FSU." "That's great!" She said. "Yeah it is and it's also all the way in Florida." I said and sighed. "Well what are you going to do, you can't hold him back." she said and I stayed quiet "You better not hold him back Abigail." She said seriously. "I know, I don't want to hold him back but I have to stay here in Nebraska while everyone else gets to leave for college. I'm gonna be all by myself." "I know sweetie but what are you going to do. It is what it is." "Yeah I guess." I said and started walking towards the stairs, "Hey don't stress it right now ok." My mom said. "Ok." I responded and continued walking up the stairs. I took Alyssa a bath and then put her in her pajamas. "Ok baby I have to go take a shower now. Let's see if Grandma can watch you." I said and walked downstairs with her in my arms. I saw Aidan sitting on the couch, "Hey can you do me a favor?" I asked. "Yeah I'll watch her." He said and I laughed. "Thank you. I'm just gonna take a quick shower. Shouldn't be long." I said and sat her on his lap. "Don't worry about it." He said and I went to take a shower. I got out and put on sweats and a tank top. I walked back down and saw Aidan in the same spot with Alyssa. "Thanks." I said and picked her up. "Mom said dinner is ready." Aidan said and I nodded. I walked to the dining room and put Alyssa in her high chair. I went back to the kitchen and served myself food. I went to the dining room and sat down next to Aidan. We all ate and talked for awhile and then I went upstairs with Alyssa. I put her to sleep and then I went back to my room, I saw someone texted me. It was from Gabi and she asked if her and Natasha can come over. I said yes and waited for them. "Hey." Natasha said walking in. "Hey." I said and they sat next to me on my bed. We talked for a while and the college conversation came up. "Oh yeah Sam got into FSU." I said. "Really? I'm so happy for him." Gabi said. "Yeah so am I." I said and smiled. "But what does that mean for your relationship?" Natasha asked. "Honestly I have no idea. And we haven't spoke about it." I answered and she nodded, "Well I hope Aidan and I go to the same college we both applied to some of the same ones. So we have to see where we get accepted and if we choose the same place." Natasha said. "What about you and Jack?" I asked Gabi. "We haven't really spoke about it, but we need to." She said and I nodded. We continued talking for a little then they wanted to sleep over so we put on a movie and we went to sleep.
