Chapter 38

Abigail's POV

"What happened?" I stayed quiet for a second then started, "He asked me if I wanted to go to a party and I said no and I told him I had to watch Alyssa, which is a lie. She was already sleeping and I could've just asked my mom to watch her. Jack it's not that I don't like going to parties and I'd rather stay home. Honestly my life is so fucking boring. I don't know how I have friends, all I do is stay home and watch movies. Sam's right but-" I say and quiet down as my eyes begin to fill with tears again. "What baby?" he says stroking my hair. "Jack im scared to go to another party and get drunk or someone spikes my drink and it happens again" I say and begin to cry. Jack stayed quiet not knowing what to say. "And I'm right back to square one, being a worthless piece of shit" "No Abigail that's not true" "Yes it is, and everyone tells me its not but it is. There's nothing special about me and there will never be something special about me." I said and started crying even more. "Abigail you really need to stop telling yourself these things. You keep telling yourself things that arent true then you're gonna end up breaking. Abigail you can't let that happen, you don't have to worry about only yourself. You have to worry about yourself and your daughter too." He said and I nodded. "Thanks Jack." I said and gave him a hug. "Your welcome Abi. I love you ok." "I love you too." "I have to go over soon and see Alyssa" "You're welcome over anytime. You know that right?" "Yeah of course. I'll probably go over tomorrow." "Are you going to the party tonight?" I asked. "No why?" "You can come over now and sleepover. Like we use to before Alyssa and stuff." "Yeah I'll go get my things" He said getting up and going upstairs. I sat down and waited for him. He came down and we walked to my car.

We got to my house and I saw my mom was sitting with Alyssa in the living room. "Hey mom, I'm home." I said and walked in. "Hey sweetie. Alyssa would not go back to sleep. She woke up 5 minutes after you left." She said and I nodded taking her from my mom. "Do you think I can go in the pool with her?" I asked. "Yeah she probably wont like it though" "Ok well we are going anyways. But tomorrow because she needs to be sleeping already." I said and we went upstairs. "Can you hold her so I can go change?" I ask Jack. He nodded his head and I handed her to him. I went to the bathroom and changed into my pajamas. I went back to the room and took Alyssa and changed her. When I was done Jack was already changed. I sat next to him on my bed and started trying to put Alyssa to sleep. "Ok finally." I said once she fell asleep. "I'll be right back" I went to her room and put her in her crib gently. "I love you." I said and kissed her forehead. I walked back to my room and laid next to Jack. We started talking until I fell asleep.

I woke up and Jack wasn't next to me. I looked at the time and it was 9:56. I got up and went to Alyssa's room, I saw Jack giving her her bottle. "You should have woke me up." I said "You looked so cute so I decided not to, plus you looked really tired last night so I let you sleep." He said and I smiled, "Thank you." "Ok all done." He said and handed her to me. I burped her then I changed Alyssa into a bathing suit. "Aww she looks adorable." I said and took out my phone. I took a picture and then I sat next to Jack. "Can you hold her so I can change?" I asked. "Yeah of course." He said and I grabbed a bathing suit. I went to the bathroom and changed. "Ugh." I groaned and walked out of the bathroom. "What happen?" "Nothing, I just need to work out this bathing suit barely fits me." I said and he started laughing. "What's funny?" I asked. "Your funny. You realize you just had a baby right. You don't loose baby weight over night." "Ok but you would think things like this fit me" I said and took Alyssa. "No actually." "Whatever, go change!" I said and he went to go change." He came out and we went downstairs. "Aww she looks so cute." My mom said when she saw Alyssa. "I know. Look she's so chubby." I said and poked her stomach which caused her to giggle. We went outside and I started walking towards the pool. I went in and sat on the stairs. I put Alyssa's feet in and she made a face so I took them out. "Do you think it's too cold?" I asked Jack. "No it's fine. Put her in again." He said and I put her feet in again. She made the same face but then that turned into a smile. "See she's fine." Jack said and took her from me. He went more into the water with her. I followed him and then he splashed me. "I would splash you back but you have Alyssa." I said and he started laughing. We stayed in the pool for a little bit longer then we went inside. I took Alyssa a bath and then changed her into a purple onesie. I took her downstairs to my mom and then I went back up. "You can take a shower first." I said to Jack so he went to the bathroom. I checked my phone and saw Gabi had texted me.

Jack came out of the shower, "Hey Gabi said she needed to meet me for lunch in an hour. Apparently it's important" I said and he nodded. "Ok I have to go anyway. It was really fun hanging out with you." He said and gave me a hug. "Thanks it was fun hanging out with you too." "I love you." "I love you too." I said and he left. I went to the bathroom and took a shower and washed my hair. When I was done I changed and did my hair. I blow dried and ironed my hair. Then I did my makeup. I looked at my phone and saw Gabi texted me saying she was gonna pick me up. I started debating whether I should text Sam or not. He couldn't be serious about taking a break, I decided not to because I didn't want to make things worse. Gabi got here so I went downstairs. "Mom?" "Yeah sweetie?" "Can you watch Alyssa while I go to Lunch with Gabi?" "I have to go to a emergency meeting soon." She said and I sighed. "Is Aidan here?" I asked. "No he's at Natashas house. Just take Alyssa with you." She said and I went to the living room to get her. I went outside holding her. "Hey is it ok if I bring Alyssa. Nobody can watch her." "Yeah of course." She said and smiled. "Ok hold her for a second." I said and handed her Alyssa. I went to my car and got her carseat then I put it in Gabi's car. I put Alyssa in and then sat down in the passenger seat. "You went in the pool with her today?" Gabi asked. "Yeah Jack was over and we went. She loved it." "Aww do you have pictures?" "Yeah here" I said and showed her. "Aww" We got to the restaurant and I decided not to take Alyssa's carseat in. So I just carried her. "How many?" The waiter asked. "2" Gabi answered "Right this way." He lead us to a table and we sat down. "Ok so what's so important?" I asked when we were done ordering. "Why did Sam go to the party without you last night?" She asked. "We got in a fight because I didn't want to go to the party and then he started saying a bunch of shit and then I was like give me a break so he said maybe a break is what we need and left." I said and got sad. "Well did you guys agree on the break?" "No. He made that decision himself. I didn't think me not wanting to go to a party would ruin our relationship." I said and sighed. "Well last night at the party, I saw him making out with three different girls and he went upstairs with one of them. I'm really sorry Abi." She said and my heart stopped. A tear slipped from my eyes. "Every time we get in a fight he has to go fuck another girl. Every time" I said and looked down. "I bet he hooked up with girls while I was pregnant too." I said and started crying. "Abi don't cry he isn't worth it." She said and started rubbing my back. "Alyssa you're never allowed to date ok. It's all a big mess." I said and kissed Alyssa's cheek. Gabi started laughing and our food got to our table
