*5 weeks later*
Everyone has already left to college, so my days are spent at home with Alyssa. "Mommy." Alyssa said. "Yeah baby?" "Mommy!" She said and crawled over to me. I picked her up and sat her on my lap. I gave her a kiss, "You're so cute" I said and kissed her again. "Hey sweetie, I'm home" My mom said walking into the house. "Hey mom. How was work?" "Good. How was your day?" "Like any other one. Can we go out for dinner?" I asked. "Yeah I have to go take a shower and get ready so we can leave in an hour." "Ok I'll be ready." I said and went with Alyssa upstairs. I put Alyssa on the floor in her room and she crawled to her toys. "I'll be 5 minutes in the shower ok" I said and went to the bathroom. I took a quick shower and changed. (picture) I went back to Alyssa's room and picked her up. I went back to my room and she continued playing in there. I ironed my hair and did my makeup. "Let's go change baby." I said and picked up Alyssa, I took her to her room and changed her. "Ok you're ready. Let's go downstairs." I said and picked her up. "Mommy." She said. "Can you give me a kiss?" I asked and she laughed. "Please." I said and put my cheek closer to her face. She gave me a kiss, "Yay!!" I said and we both started laughing. "Mom! I'm ready!" I said and she walked down the stairs. "Ok let's go sweetie." We went to her car and I put Alyssa in her carseat. We drove to my mom's favorite restaurant that was 15 minutes away from our house.

We got to the restaurant and they seated us. "Have you talked to Sam lately?" My mom asked. "No, last time I talked to him he was studying and he had a lot of homework so I want him to focus on schoolwork." I said and she nodded, "Why don't you go surprise him." "I don't know." "Abigail, come on you're home all the time. Your friends are all at college. Why don't you go make a vacation out of it and you can go see your boyfriend. I'll watch Alyssa." "I don't know" "Think about it" "Ok maybe." I said and she rolled her eyes.

My mom convinced me to take a trip to Florida, I leave tomorrow. Right now I'm packing my things. I finished packing and went downstairs. "You finished packing?" My mom asked. "Yeah, I hate packing" I said and she laughed. "I'm gonna go to bed, I have to wake up early." "Ok sweetie, is Alyssa sleeping already?" "Yeah she is." I said and walked upstairs. I took a shower and went to bed.

My alarm went off at 7:30. I got out of bed and put on leggings and a hoodie. I put my hair in a messy bun, I went to Alyssa's room and saw her awake in her crib. "Good morning baby." I said and picked her up. "Mommy" She said and I gave her a kiss. I changed her and we went downstairs. I put her in her high chair and fed her. When I was done feeding her, I quickly ate. "Ok let's go." I said and picked her up. "Mom! I have to go to the airport!" I said and she came down. We got in the car and she drove me to the airport. We got there and my mom walked me until she couldn't anymore. "Ok bye sweetie, have fun" She said and gave me a kiss. "Bye mom." "Bye Alyssa. I love you so much" I said and kissed her cheek. They called my flight, "Flight 89B to Tallahassee, Florida now boarding." I walked to my plane and boarded.

I landed and I texted Sammy.

I got in an uber, and they drove me to my hotel. I got out and I put my things down. I changed from my hoodie into a T-shirt and got ready. I curled my hair and made sure my curls looked perfect and did my makeup. Then I went to FSU. I called Nate, he knew I was coming and was taking me to their room. "Hey" he answered. "Hey I'm on my way to campus now, where are you?" "I just had lunch" "Ok are you sure Sam's in his room?" "Yeah he was there when I left and he told me he had to study and had a lot of homework and to leave him alone" "Okay I'm here where are you" "I'm at the front, I see you" "Abigail!" I turned around and Nate was waving at me. I walked over to him and hugged him. "Nice to finally meet you" he says. "So our dorm's this way" he says and I follow him. We made small talk along the way until we got there. "Here it is" he said he opened the door and I quietly opened it.
