Chapter 14

Today is New Years Eve and again we are all going to the Wilkinson's house. The group will be there and so will their families. The Wilkinsons like to throw parties. I looked at my phone and saw it was 10:45 so I got out of bed and went downstairs. I sat at the table with my parents and my brother to eat. "We are going next door at 7 so make sure your ready." My mom said and Aidan and I said ok. I finished eating and went back upstairs and caught up on a few shows of mine. When I finished all my shows it was 5:40 so I took a shower and washed my hair. I got out and blow dried it then curled it. I did my makeup and changed. I still had about 20 minutes until we had to go so I texted Luke and asked him if we can facetime. He said yeah so I called him. "Hey!" I said when he popped up on the screen. "Hey Abi, I miss you." "I miss you too, what are you doing tonight?" "My family is having a party." "Aw I miss the parties at your house. Are Nicole, Peter, and Rachel going?" "Yeah they should be here soon actual-" He said but was interrupted by them walking through the door. "Abi!!" They shouted and walked over to Luke we continued talking until I had to go. I said bye and walked downstairs. We went next door, Ben answered the door. We all gave him a hug and went inside. I said hi to Sam's family and then went upstairs to Sam's room. I heard the shower going so I sat on his bed, using my phone, waiting. He finally came out with a towel wrapped around his waist, "Hey babe." He said and gave me a kiss. "Hey you should have been ready already." "I know but I fell asleep ." I laughed and he changed. "You look beautiful by the way." He said and I smiled, "Thank you. You clean up well." We walked downstairs and outside to where everyone was. I saw Gabi and Natasha so I walked over to them. I gave them a hug and talked until the boys came over. Before I knew it, we were counting down the seconds until it was 12:00. "3,2,1!" Everyone yelled and Sam turned me around, he gave me a kiss. We pulled away, "I love you so much." He said and put his forehead to mine. "I love you more." I said and pecked his lips. I said happy news years to everyone and then the party continued.
We stayed at Sam's house till like 2 when everyone started leaving. I said bye to the group and they left. "Abi we're leaving" "Ok I'll go home later" "Ok, I want you home though" "Ok" I say and my dad and mom kiss my cheek. I sat on the couch with my feet over Sam's and we talked. "What's your New Year resolution?" I ask Sam playing with his hair. "I don't know" "Maybe we can start by getting you a haircut" I say and he laughs. "How about you baby?" "Umm, I'm not gonna cut and..." I thought for a second. "I don't know actually I haven't really thought about it" "I'm gonna take care of you" "Sam you do take care of me" "No I don't. If I did you wouldn't have-" he stopped "Nothing would have ever happened to you" he says and looks down. "Sam it's not your fault" "Ye-" "It's not" I say lifting his chin and kissing him. "I'm sorry" he says pulling away. "Stop saying sorry babe it's not your fault. I should be the one saying sorry" he kissed me again. "I love you" "I love you too babe" I say and lean my head on his shoulder. "Babe I have to go" I say getting up. "I'll go with you" he walked with me to my front porch. "I'll see you later. I love you" I say and kiss him. "I love you too" he says kissing me again and walking back to his house. I went upstairs and changed and laid in bed.
I woke up and it was 11. I checked my phone and saw a bunch of messages from Sam.

I heard a knock on my balcony door and rolled my eyes and got out of bed. I opened the curtain and saw Sam I laughed and opened the door. "Hi" he says kissing my lips quickly and running and jumping on my bed laying facing up. "Hi" I answer and sit on top of him. "What's up" "Samm!!" I say slapping his chest. "Abii!!!" he says slapping my thighs. "Ahhh!!!" "Babe why are you so hipper?" he asks laughing. "I don't know" I say slapping his chest again. "Ow! Babe!" he says holding his chest and I peck his lips. I laid on top of him with my head in the crook of his neck and his arms wrapped tightly around me. He kissed my cheek and we laid like this for a while. "I'm hungry" "Want to go out?" he asks and I nod. "Let me get ready" I say looking though my stuff. "Just go like that" "No these are my pajamas" I say and he rolled his eyes. I changed into leggings, a tank top and one of Sam's hoodies. I put on mascara and put my hair in a messy bun. I put on Nike socks and converse and walked out of the bathroom. "Ready" I say and he grabs my hand and we walk downstairs. "Hey son" my dad says hugging Sam. "Where are you guys going?" "To lunch" I answered. He nodded and we walked out. "Where are we going?" Sam asks once we're in the car. "Where do you want to go?" I ask. "Taco Bell" I nodded and he started driving. I turned up the music and started singing the lyrics to Shake It Off. "Your insane" Sam says laughing. He took out his phone and started recording me. We got to Taco Bell and we got out of the car. We intertwined fingers, "I love you" he says and kisses my cheek, "I know" I respond and he pushes my face away and rolls his eyes. "I'm just kidding. I love you too" I say and kiss his lips. "Sike" I say pulling back before we kissed and running off. He grabbed my waist and pulled me back. "Tell me you love me" "Ew I don't like you" "Really? That's not what you told me whe-" "I love you" I say turning my face and kissing him. We walked into Taco Bell, ordered our food and ate. "When are we going back to the lake house?" "Whenever you want" "Can we go before winter break ends?" "Why it's cold" "It's nice out there. Please" "Yeah if you want to" "Yay" I say and kiss his cheek. We went back to my house and I packed clothes because Sam said we could go to the lake house today.

"Yeah um I don't think we're the only ones going to the lake house" "Yeah neither do I. Jack kind of just invited himself" "So did Natasha" "Ok I'll text Johnson" he says. We got our stuff and went to the car. "He's with Gabi he says they'll go in a bit" "Ok" I say and he starts the car. "I love you" I say and he kisses me, "I love you too" he says and we head to the lake house.
