Chapter 12

Sam's birthday is in a few days and he is turning 19. The Jacks and I have been planning a birthday party for him. Today I'm going shopping for his birthday gift. I changed into jeans, a long sleeve shirt and a cardigan. It's cold in Nebraska at this time, I love it sometimes but I also hate it. I left my hair down and did my makeup. I put on boots and went downstairs. "Good morning mother." I said and sat down. "Good morning daughter." She said mocking me, "Where are you going today?" "I have to go get Sam his birthday gift." I replied and she nodded. I ate something really quick then said bye and went to the mall. I walked around for a little bit debating what I should get him. I ended up getting him vans, a hoodie and these socks that had weed on them he likes. I went back home and Sam texted me asking if he could come over, I said yes and hid his gift in my closet. He walked into my room and jumped on my bed. "Hey babe" I said and gave him a kiss. "Hey princess." I laid next to him. "Are you excited for your birthday?" I asked, "I am." He said and kissed my cheek. We continued talking for a little bit then we went out to eat.

Today is Sam's birthday and his party. I woke up and changed into leggings and one of Sam's hoodies. I put on boots and walked next door. I knocked on the door and Emily answered. "Good morning. Is Sam awake?" I asked. "Hey, no he isn't but you can go wake him up." "Ok thank you." I said and walked upstairs. He was still sleeping so I took off my boots and sat on him with each of my legs on different sides of him. He was sleeping on his stomach so I was sitting on his back. "Babe wake up." I said and he mumbled something. "Come on sleepy head." I said and he opened his eyes. "Happy Birthday." I said and gave him a kiss. "Thank you babe" I got off of him and he turned around. "Am I getting something special tonight?" He asked and winked at me. "I don't know, maybe." I said and gave him another kiss. The kiss turned into a make out session which ended when there was a knock on the door. Sam groaned and I laughed, "Come in." Lori walked in. "Happy birthday your getting so old but your still my baby." She said and gave him a kiss. Sam rolled his eyes and laughed. "Thanks mom." He said and I smiled. He was so cute. I stayed in bed with him until around 1:30. "Ok babe spend time with your family, I'll see you at Jack's house at 8." I said and gave him a kiss. Sam thinks we are going to Jack's house to smoke and drink only our group but Jack's parents are out of town and we are having the party at his house. "Do you have to go?" He asked and I nodded. "Yes, I'll see you later." I said and gave him another kiss. I walked back to my house and grabbed everything I needed for Sam's party, which was my clothes. I'm going to Jack's house now because we have a bunch of things to do and then I'll get ready there. I put my things in my car and drove to Jack's house. I knocked on the door and Johnson answered. "Hey." I said and gave him a hug. We went upstairs to Jack's room and then we left. We went to Publix to get food and then we went to Party City to get the party decorations and things like that. Jack said he had a friend that would get the alcohol. We spent about 2 and a half hours going to both of the stores so when we got to Jack's house it was already almost 5. We quickly set everything up and then I went to get ready. I took a shower and blow dried and ironed my hair. Then I did my makeup and got dressed. I walked downstairs and finished up the last touches for the party. Sam didn't know about the party but it wasn't a surprise party because we've kind of been dropping hints. Everyone started arriving and Sam did soon after. "I told you I didn't want a party" he says hugging me, "I told you I didn't care" I say and kiss him. "Happy birthday cutie" I say intertwining both our hands, "Thank you beautiful" he says and kisses me again. "I'm gonna go say hi to everyone. Come with me" he says releasing one of my hands and walking towards the crowd of people. "Heyy my man. Glad you could make it" he says bro-hugging some jocks on his basketball team. "Of course" he says holding up his cup. We finished saying hi to everyone and Sam lead us towards where our group was. "Thanks bro" he says hugging Jack. "Of course man" he says and Sam says hi to the rest of our group. "I'm gonna go get a drink? Do you want anything?" I ask Sam. "Yea, I'll go with you" "Babe it's fine I can go by myself. You don't have to be so overprotective all the time" "I don't want you to get hurt" "I'll be fine. I promise" "If your not back in 10 minutes I'm gonna look for you" "Ok" "I love you" he says as I get up pulling our hands apart. "I love you too" I say turning around and pecking his lips. I walked over to the bar and poured Sam and I a drink. I walked with the two cups in my hand and someone grabbed my ass on the way out, I turned around and saw two jocks with a cup in each hand laughing. I rolled my eyes and walked outside with Sam. "Everything okay?" Sam asks as I sit down next to him handing him his cup. "Yeah" I say and peck his lips. We talked and he placed his hand on my thigh. "Are Jack and Gabi here?" "Yeah they should be" "Have you seen them?" "No" I say. "You look hot in that outfit" he says moving his hand up my thigh. I flicked it off, "You'd look better without it" he says kissing my neck. "Nice try" "But it's my birthday!" he says pouting "Maybe" I say and he smiles. "Okay I'm bored let's take shots!!" Jack yells and we get up and walk to the bar. We took shots, "Sam I want to dance" "Dance" he says pushing me back putting his hand under his chin and examining me. "No! Dance with me!" "I can't dance" "Please!! Sammy!" He bit his lip, "Fuck you" he says and we walk to the dance floor. I was turned around and Sam had his hands on my hips. "I want you" he says against my neck. "That's too bad" I say and walk away with Sam following behind me. We got outside. "What the fuck?!" he asks. "What?" I ask innocently. "Your such a tease!" "Maybe" I say turning around. He grabbed my hand and pinned me to the wall. "Two can play this game" he says kissing me but I didn't kiss back. He pulled away and stared into my eyes, then I kissed him. We continued parting for a little bit longer and then Sam and I went home. He ended up getting what he wanted.
