Chapter 51

Abigail's POV

"You look amazing" Sam says looking at me up and down. I was wearing a little sun dress with sandals. "Sam, I don't have all day" I say. "What?" He asks. "I have somewhere to go" I say looking at him "With who?" he asks and I stay quiet for a second, "Nate" I say quietly and look down, he stayed quiet. "Is it a date?" "Why does it matter?" I snap back. He looked at me with sad eyes then looked down. "Oh, ok Abi I'm so sorry, babe I promise it meant nothing" "Stacy meant nothing" I say not looking up. He stayed quiet. "Look I know I've made mistakes, a lot of mistakes. But I also know that you love me and I love you so much more than you can imagine." he says and a tear slips from my eyes. "Baby I'm so sorry and it was honestly a mistake" "Wh- why was she in your room" I ask softly. "We were working on a project and she wanted to take a break, so we, we started smoking" "Why were you defending her?" "Babe I was high" he says and I stay quiet crying a little. "Baby I love you so mu-" I cupped his face in my hands and kissed him. He instantly kissed me back with so much passion and then smiled into the kiss. "I love you so much" "I love you too Sam but" I stopped. "But what?" "I don't know if I can keep doing this" he didn't argue. He leaned in and kissed me. "I still love you Sam. I'm still in love with you but, it's so hard and we're so far and I don't know if I can trust you anymore" "Friends?" he asks and I nod. "Friends" I say and we kiss again. I wrapped my arms around his neck and he wrapped his arms around my waist pulling me closer to him deepening the kiss. "I love you so much" he says into the kiss. "I love you more" I say and bite his lip. He laughed and pulled away. I hugged him and he hugged me back. "Where are you and Nate going?" he asks with his arm around my shoulder and our fingers interlocked. "He said he was gonna show me around Florida I don't know" "Ok come tomorrow" "Ok I'll see you then" I say and he pecks my lips. I texted Nate and met him in the front. "Are you ok?" He asked. "Yeah I'm fine." I said and smiled, maybe it's best if Sam and I stay friends.

I leave back to Omaha tomorrow, right now I'm getting ready to go hang out with Sam. I took a shower and washed my hair. When I was done I blow dried and ironed it. I changed into light washed ripped high waisted jeans and a black tank top. I put on black high top converse and did my makeup. My phone started buzzing and it was a FaceTime call from my mom. I answered and saw my mom with Alyssa on her lap. "Mommy!" Alyssa said and I smiled. "Hey baby." I said. "Hey sweetie, how are you?" "Hey mom. Good" "How are you feeling?" She asked referring to how I felt about my breakup with Sam. "Good, I'm going to go hang out with Sam now." "Ok then I'll talk to you later" "Ok I love you. Bye." I said and kissed the screen. "Give mommy a kiss." My mom said and Alyssa leaned in and gave the phone a kiss. "I love you." I said and hung up. I went downstairs and got in an uber to go to Sam's school. I got to his dorm room and knocked on the door. "Hey babe" Sam said leaning in to give me a kiss. I turned my face and he kissed my cheek, "We aren't dating anymore. No more kissing." I say laughing and he gave me a hug. "Fine." He said and smiled. I walked into his room and sat on his bed. "Where's Nate?" I asked. "At class. Are you hungry?" "Yeah can we go eat?" "Yeah let's go." He said and I got up. We walked outside and we went to Chick-fil-a. "You must love that they have this here on campus." I said once we sat down with our food. "I do." He said and laughed. "How are your classes?" "Good, way harder then high school" "I would assume it's harder." I said and smiled, "Or maybe your just stupid." I said and he rolled his eyes and smiled. We finished eating then we went back to his dorm. "I'm tired." I said and yawned. "Let's cuddle." He said and pulled me onto his bed. "Don't go back to Omaha." He said and pulled me closer to him. "I have to go home and see Alyssa." "Bring her over here. I miss her. Next time you come you have to bring her." "Who said I was coming back?" I asked. "Of course your coming back." He said and I laughed. We laid in bed for a little longer until I had to go back to my hotel. "Bye Abi. I'll see you tomorrow." He said since he will be taking me to the airport tomorrow. "Ok bye." I said and gave him a hug. I walked to the front of the school and ran into Nate. "Hey Abi." He said and gave me a hug. "Hey Nate what's up?" "Just heading back from class." "Ok well it was nice seeing you. I hope I get to see you again soon." I said and he smiled. "It was nice meeting you Abi." He said and smiled. I went back to the hotel and laid down watching tv.

I talk to Gabi and Natasha whenever possible, so they know what has happen. Jack also knows, and he is very protective over me so he was really mad at Sam. I told him it was fine and he relaxed. I closed my eyes went to sleep.

I woke up and put on yoga pants and a hoodie. I didn't put on any makeup and I put my hair in a messy bun. I made sure I had everything and then there was a knock on the door. "Hey Sam." "Hey Abi. You ready?" "Yeah let's go" "Here I'll help you." He said taking my suitcase from me. "Thanks." I said and we went into the elevator. We got into his car and we drove to the airport. "I'm really going to miss you Abigail. I'm sorry for everything that happened." He said and put his hand on top of mine. "I'm going to miss you too. And it's all in the pass." I said and lightly smiled. We got to the airport and they called my flight, "Flight 987C to Omaha, Nebraska now boarding." I looked at Sam and he pulled me into a hug. "Can I kiss you?" He asked. "Sam," I said and he kissed me. We intertwined fingers, "I love you" He said. "I love you too." I said and he kissed my forehead. "FaceTime me with Alyssa as soon as you get home." He said and I nodded. "Ok I will." I said. "I have to go." I said and he sighed. "I know babe." He said and I gave him one last hug and a kiss before boarding my flight.
