Chapter 34

The doctor came in and checked Alyssa one more time, "Ok she looks great you can go home now." He said and I nodded. I picked her up and handed her to my mom. I started picking up all of our things and when I was done I put her in her carseat. Sam, my mom, and Sam's mom started grabbing bags while I carried her carseat. We went to the car and I sat in the back with her so did Sam. Our moms sat in the front. We got to the house and we went inside. I took her to her room and put her in her crib. I put the baby monitor on and went downstairs. "Do you need help?" I asked Sam who was bringing in bags. "No it's fine." "Are you sure?" "Yeah babe don't worry about it." I walked towards the kitchen and saw Aidan. "Hey." "Hey where's my niece?" "Upstairs." "Ok I'm gonna go with her." "Ok don't make her cry!" I said and nodded. I grabbed a granola bar and ate it then drank water. "Jack wants to know if he can come over." Sam said walking in. "Yeah of course." I said and he nodded. That reminded me that I wanted to text Luke and Nicole to see when they can come to town.

I put down my phone and Jack got to the house. "Hey where's Alyssa?" He asked and hugged me. "Upstairs." I said and we both walked upstairs. We went to her room and Aidan was rocking her in the rocking chair. "I didn't make her cry." He said and smiled. "Good!" I said and took her from him. "Here I'll get up" He said and got up. "Thank you." I sat down and started rocking her. "You guys are twins! I don't know if I'll be able to stop saying it." Jack said and I laughed. "Alyssa's cuter though." He said and I smiled. "I know." I said and Sam came in. "Hey babe" He said and gave me a kiss. "Hey. Can one of you hold her?" "I'll hold her." Jack said and took her from me. We switched places and I walked to Sam. I gave me a kiss, "Thank you" "For what?" He asked, "For being there for me and Alyssa" I say and hug him. "Of course" he says and kisses my forehead. "She's our baby" he says and I smile and kiss his cheek. I held Sam's hand and leaned against him watching Jack and Alyssa. He was smiling and making her laugh. I smiled and continued watching them. He was tickling her stomach and she was smiling. She started crying, "What did I do?" he asks. "She's just hungry" I say and the boys walk downstairs. I fed her and burped her. I rocked her in the rocking chair and she fell asleep. I went downstairs and sat on Sam's lap. He wrapped his arms around my waist. He kissed my cheek, "I'm hungry" Jack says. "Do you wanna order pizza?" he got up and ordered pizza. 20 minutes later there was a knock on the door, "7.54" he says and hands me the box. I gave him 10 dollars. "Thank you" he says and I smile and close the door. I grabbed two slices and sat on Sam. He took a bite from my pizza and I took one after. "Do you want one?" I ask him and he nods. I gave him my other slice and he ate it. I finished and got another slice for Sam. I took a bite and then gave it to him.
