The phone rang about three times before he picked up. "Hello?" Even though it's was just one word, hearing his voice like that made me tear up. "I-" I wanted to say something back but not could seem to escape my mouth.
"Mom? Are you here?" Here it was again... I couldn't stop the tears from falling down now. "Momma why are you crying?" Janae asked as she wiped away my tears.
"Lil J?" When he said that I had no other choice then to end the call. It was too hard for me and I don't want Janae to see me like this. It makes me feel like I failed.
"So does this mean I get a Chance now?" Elom asked. "Fuck noooooo."
